An electric blinds roof structure provided in this invention includes a top frame, and at least a group of blinds is installed at the top frame. Each group of blinds includes a plurality of slats, a linkage strip, and an electric control mechanism, each slat is rotatably installed at the top frame, and each slat is directly hinged to the linkage strip or hinged to the linkage strip through a fixing member fixed at the slat. The electric control mechanism is used to drive at least one linkage strip to move thus to control opening and closing of the slats. This invention can drive the linkage strip to move through the electric control mechanism, thereby controlling the opening and closing of slats corresponding to blinds, and operation is convenient and reliable compared to the operation mode of rolling a rolling rod in the prior art.

This invention relates to a solar shading module (1) for shading direct sunlight, wherein maximum shading is combined with a high unobstructed view factor by providing an array of m×n shading panels (5) which are moved by a solar tracking system (7) in order to follow the sun. The invention further relates to a glazed structure and a building provided with one or more solar shading modules (1) according to the invention, for instance as part of a fagade or roof of the building. The invention also relates to a method for operating a solar shading module (1) according to the invention, comprising the step of controlling the position of the shading panels (5) such that the normal of the shading panels (5) points towards the sun.

A venetian blind includes a frame unit, a slat unit, a transmission unit, and an operating unit. The slat unit includes multiple drive axles and a plurality of slats each connected co-rotatably to the drive axles. The transmission unit includes two transmission rollers, a plurality of constant-force coil springs that are linked together and that are coupled to the drive axles, and a belt that cooperates with the constant-force coil springs to form a loop trained on the transmission rollers. The operating unit includes an inner control member connected to the belt, and an outer control member operable to drive the inner control member to move so as to drive rotation of the drive axles via the constant-force coil springs to rotate the slats.

A shutter assembly including a plurality of shutter panels arranged side-by-side. Each shutter panel has a respective plurality of louvers and a respective operable tilt mechanism configured to adjust the tilt angle of the respective plurality of louvers. A frame assembly for windows and doors includes a pair of side members and a pair of generally parallel cross members, each extending along a unique member axis. The cross members include a first frame portion and a second frame portion that extend generally along the member axis and are connected by a camming fastener that draws together and secures the first and second frame portions. A method of fabricating a shutter assembly includes forming a pair of C-shaped partial-frames, each from a side member coupled to portions of two cross-members. The method includes co-axially aligning corresponding portions of the two cross-members along two axes and joining the two C-shaped partial-frames with camming fasteners.

A shutter-blind system for windows is provided. The system includes a plurality of rotatable parallel louvers. Each louver is rotatable about an axis offset from its center of gravity. The system further includes a resisting member coupled to a louver located at a lower end of the plurality of louvers, the center of gravity of the louvers with the offset axis pulling against the resisting member to maintain tension in the collapsible linkages. All of the louvers of the plurality of louvers are rotated in a substantially matched rotation in response to rotation of the lower louver. All of the louvers are held in position in response to the force of gravity on the offset louvers acting against the resisting member.

Protective clips for movable partitions include a guard portion that protrudes from a top major surface of a base portion. The guard portion extends along the top major surface proximate to a front side of the base portion. The guard portion also may extend along the top major surface proximate to at least one end side surface at a longitudinal end of the base portion. Movable partitions include one or more such protective clips. The protective clips optionally may be used to attach a sweep strip to panels of a movable partition. Methods of forming such protective clips include molding the clips within a mold cavity.

A shutter-blind system for windows is provided. The system includes a frame and a plurality of rotatable parallel louvers coupled within the frame. Each louver of the plurality of louvers is operatively coupled to adjacent louvers with a collapsible linkage. The system may further comprise a biasing member coupled to a first louver located at a first end of the plurality of louvers and a resisting member coupled to a second louver located at a second end of the plurality of louvers. The biasing member pulls against the resisting member to maintain tension in the collapsible linkage. According to certain embodiments, the frame elements are coupled within a window opening and trim elements are coupled to cover gaps between the frame elements and the window opening.
