Abstract: An approved dynamic construction is used for effectively thermally insulating and sealing of a safing slot between a floor of a building and an exterior wall construction. The exterior wall construction includes a curtain wall configuration defined by an interior wall glass surface including one or more aluminum framing members, where the vision glass extends to the finished floor level below. The dynamic, thermally insulating and sealing system includes a first element for receiving the insulating elements, and is positioned in the zero spandrel area of a glass curtain wall construction including only vision glass, to maintain thermally insulating and sealing of the safing slot during exposure to fire and heat as well as movement in order to maintain a complete seal extending across the safing slot.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a system includes a curtain wall member and a first curtain wall member mounting apparatus coupled to a first end of the curtain wall member. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus engages with a first curtain wall member supporting channel having a vertically-disposed member and a horizontally-disposed supporting member having a receiving-and-retaining member extending from an end opposite the vertically-disposed member. The receiving-and-retaining member engages with a channel adjacent to one or more projections of the first curtain wall member mounting apparatus. The first curtain wall member mounting apparatus is adapted to be rotated into position such that a connection mechanism at a second end of the curtain wall member engages with a second curtain wall member supporting channel to retain the curtain wall member in position.

Abstract: A modular infill panel system for attaching to vertical structural members of a building frame and adjacent modular infill panel units. The modular infill panel system can include vertically stacked modular infill panel units. The modular infill panel units can be vertically aligned and attached to the building's structural columns by bracket assemblies mounted along one or more outside edges of the top frame member of the structural frame of the modular infill panel units. The bracket assemblies can secure the modular infill panel unit to the vertical structure of the building and alignment pins projecting upward from the bracket assemblies can align vertically adjacent modular infill panel units.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for attaching glass panels to a substructure. Embodiments include a blocking extending along a length of a structural element and attached to a first portion of a surface of the structural element. Flashing covers the blocking, and has a flange extending outward from a lower edge of the blocking to contact a second portion of the surface of the structural element. An elastic flange gasket covers an outer edge of the flange and contacts an inner main surface of a glass panel. A glazing cap extends along the blocking, having an elastic cap gasket for contacting the outer main surface of the glass panel. The glazing cap extends over and attaches to the blocking for retaining the glass panel between the flange gasket and the cap gasket, and for sealing the glass panel, the flange gasket, and the cap gasket.
