Sensors can be provided to sense the closed status of the door and the status of the door lock. Additional sensors can monitor various levels and usage of consumables. The microprocessor monitors the sensed data and wirelessly alerts a service provider when the restroom needs service. A payment receiving means can be provided to the portable restroom and coupled to the microprocessor so that a user can provide payment for access to the portable restroom.

摘要： A retractable bathroom device that unfolds to provide bathroom facilities to a user is provided. The system generally comprises a deployment device and a folding frame having a shower incorporated therein. Other preferred embodiments of a retractable bathroom may further comprise a sink and/or a toilet. A user may unfold the retractable bathroom device using the deployment device and then use the facilities. Once finished, the user may fold the retractable bathroom device for storage using the deployment device. A water pump may transfer water from a water tank operably connected to the system, and drains of the system may return grey/black water thereto. Heating elements of the water tank may prevent water within from freezing.

摘要： A vent for a removable toilet holding tank includes a valve member that is in communication with both the holding tank interior and the ambient atmosphere and is moved off its valve seat when the pressure within the holding tank exceeds the ambient pressure by an amount sufficient to overcome the force of gravity acting to hold the valve member against its valve seat. 摘要： A portable toilet enclosure comprises a base and sidewalls attached to sides of the base. The base has a wall in which a portable toilet is disposed. A moveable wall is supported on the sidewalls and is operable to a closed position in which the portable toilet is concealed from view and to an open position which provides use of the portable toilet in the usual manner. The sidewalls incorporate integral hand grips along the top. The bottom edges of the sidewalls provide support for the enclosure on an underlying surface. A pair of wheels are mounted at the lower front corners of the enclosure. With the toilet resting on its sidewalls, the wheels are slightly out of contact with the underlying surface. Forward tipping of the enclosure brings the wheels into contact with the underlying surface while at the same time elevating the lower edges of the sidewalls from the underlying surface so that the enclosure can be rolled. The moveable wall comprises individual tambours hinged together, and is guided on endless tracks on the inner faces of the sidewalls.

摘要： A two piece portable toilet is described. The toilet includes a bowl unit which defines a toilet bowl having a discharge opening, and a reservoir for a flushing liquid, said reservoir having a normally closed filler opening. A holding tank is normally disposed below and supports the bowl unit. The holding tank has a top wall and defines a waste holding chamber having an inlet opening in said top wall for communication with the discharge opening of the toilet bowl. The chamber also has a normally closed outlet opening. The top wall of the tank is contoured to define a depression around the holding chamber inlet opening and, on opposite sides of the depression, surfaces for supporting said bowl unit. Coupling means normally maintain the bowl unit and holding tank in co-operating relationship when the toilet is in use. The coupling means allow the unit and tank to be separated at appropriate times. The toilet also includes pump means communicating with the reservoir in the bowl unit and with the toilet bowl and operable in use to deliver flushing liquid from the reservoir into the bowl. Valve means are also provided for controlling discharge of material from the toilet bowl into the holding chamber. The valve means are disposed in the depression in the top wall of the holding tank and includes a flap-form closure member which is pivotable about an axis generally normal to the axis of the discharge opening of the toilet bowl. The closure member is movable between a position in which the member prevents communication between the discharge opening of the bowl and the waste holding chamber, and a position in which the closure member has pivoted downwardly clear of the opening to allow discharge of material from the toilet bowl into said chamber. A valve operating means is normally disposed below and supports the closure member in its closed position and is retractable to allow the closure member to pivot downwardly about its said axis and allow communication between the discharge opening of the bowl and the inlet of the waste holding chamber.
