Abstract:
An improved material pusher or containment plow employing a floating vehicle-coupling system, a modular composite scraping edge, a front-pivoting wear shoe with an adjustable angle, as well as water-shedding features. The disclosed containment plow and features are provide improved the surface outcome under various snow and ice conditions.
Abstract:
A pavement repair system is provided utilizing solid phase auto regenerative cohesion and homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization technologies. The system is suitable for use in repairing asphalt pavement, including pavement exhibiting a high degree of deterioration (as manifested in the presence of potholes, cracks, ruts, or the like) as well as pavement that has been subject to previous repair and may comprise a substantial amount of dirt and other debris (e.g., chipped road paint or other damaged or disturbed surfacing materials). A system utilizing homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization is suitable for rejuvenating or repairing aged asphalt, thereby improving properties of the paving material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing filler material onto a surface to be filled, said device comprising a main frame and at least one conveying belt guided thereon for delivering the filler material to at least one output portion, wherein both in and against a direction of travel at least one distribution brush is arranged on the main frame behind the output portion for distributing the filler material on the surface to be filled.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for repairing a verge. The device includes: a base frame for attaching the device to a mobile tool, such as a crane; a subframe arranged on the base frame; and a flexible sleeve which is arranged on the subframe and revolves so as to be movable with respect to the base frame. In addition, the invention relates to a method for repairing a verge.
Abstract:
An angled blade unit is attached to a loader bucket and, as the bucket is moved along a roadway, the blade unit plows excess roadstone away from a newly poured concrete gutter in order to prepare a roadbed for paving. A gage rides along the flag of the gutter and limits the depth to which the blade unit plows into the roadstone.
Abstract:
Scraping device for removing excess subgrade material from the surface of a subgrade to level the subgrade, which includes a lower wall, side walls, a rear wall and an optional top wall defining a container for collecting removed excess subgrade material, and attachment means so the device may be lifted and transported by a fork lift truck or the bucket of an earth moving vehicle for emptying; advantageously the apparatus is formed in sections which can be disassembled and stacked one within another.
Abstract:
The improvement to machines for filling trenches in paved surfaces has two hoppers hydraulically operated to deposit selected course material directly into the trench from a substantially vertical drop in substantially equal quantities from each side. At least one of the hoppers moves responsive to the movement of guide rails that follow the contours of the trench. A vertically adjustable strike-off plate, adapted to define a course level above or below the level of the surrounding paved surface, has two components, at least one of which moves relative the other responsive to the guide rails to accommodate trench width, and includes apparatus for laying down a window of paving material during a final pass and pushing it into a mini-trench created by intrusion of the guide rails.
