摘要： A laundry appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet for providing selective access to the chamber, and a user interface for controlling operation of the laundry appliance. A controller is configured to initiate a self-clean cycle and to automatically commence a drying cycle at the conclusion of the self-clean cycle. The drying cycle is based on operation data associated with the drying cycle, such as a predetermined period of time to complete drying or based on a predetermined final humidity of air exhausted from the chamber during the drying cycle.

When the drum washing machine enters into a spin phase to dewater, with the configuration of disposing the flow guiding structure (323) on the inner cylinder front flange (32), air in front of the inner cylinder front flange (32) could be introduced to the back side of it, and a negative pressure space could be created between the inner cylinder front flange (32) and the outer cylinder (2), and additionally, air around the window gasket (5) could enter into the space between the inner cylinder front flange (32) and the outer cylinder (2) by the vent (541) to create a high volume airflow circulating around the inner surface of the window gasket 5 to dry it quickly, which could speed up drying time, prevent the breeding of bacteria and eliminate the odor.

Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding washing machine (10).
