摘要： Sequin feeder device includes an adjustment member mounted on a feed lever, and the adjustment member controls pivot timing of a lock lever by its adjustment piece abutting against a lock lever. The pivot timing of the lock lever is adjustable as desired, in accordance with a relative position of the adjustment piece, and thus, timing at which an engaging claw of the lock lever engages a sequin is adjustable as desired. Further, on a support plate, there is mounted a sequin feed guide member for guiding a continuous sequin strip to allow the sequin strip to be fed straight in the predetermined feeding direction. The sequin feed guide member can be appropriately positioned by merely being fixed to the support plate with its side edge abutted against a side wall of the support plate, without a need for particular positional adjustment of the guide member.

摘要： For feeding curtain hooks, each consisting of a strip (1) and the hook (5) connected thereto, to a sewing machine which can sew the strip of an infed curtain hook onto a curtain pleat, use is made of a device comprising a storage holder (12) for the curtain hooks, and a device (9) for moving one curtain hook at a time from the storage holder (12) to a desired position for sewing on the strip of that curtain hook. According to the invention, the device (9) move the curtain hooks only in one straight line, the storage holder (12) is in the form of a vertical tube in which the curtain hooks can be stored stacked on top of one another, the bottom end of the storage holder (12) lies in or just above the straight movement path of the moving part (25) of the device (9), so that the moving part (25) can pick up the bottom hook in the storage holder (12), and the moving part (25) of the device ( 9) can return to the initial position during sewing on of the strip of the curtain hook held in position by the pressure foot of the sewing machine.

摘要： In a button-holder for a button-sewing machine, two clamp parts (8,9) for the button (7) are guided in a parallel guide holder (28) so as to be movable by a pneumatic cylinder (34) in opposite directions. The parallel guide holder (28) is swingable horizontally by a pneumatic cylinder (17) to displace the clamp parts (8,9) from a sewing position (A) to a resting position (B).Thus, the button-holder does not require adjustment for different sized buttons and the button can be inserted away from the sewing region.

摘要： In a sewing of successive substantially rectangular fly pieces to a continuous slide fastener chain on a sewing machine, a corner of the leading end of the individual fly piece is automatically folded as the fly piece is advanced toward a sewing station defined by the sewing machine, then two plies of the folded corner are joined with a line of stitches when the fly piece is sewn to the slide fastener chain by the same stitches. A longitudinal edge of the fly pieces is serged with a line of overedge stitches running across the folded corner.

摘要： A hem folding attachment for folding a reinforcement member into the end of a strip of material prior to insertion of the folded end of the strip of material into a hem forming maching. The attachment including a frame or table having a guide mounted on the frame for aligning the strip of material on the table and a hem stop mounted on the frame for engaging the end of the strip of material. The reinforcement member is aligned on the top of the strip of material in a spaced relation to the hem stop. A folder bar is mounted on the frame beneath the strip of material for movement upwardly into engagement with the strip of material to fold the end of the strip of material around the reinforcement member. A shuttle is moved into engagement with the reinforcement member and folds the end of the strip over the top of the reinforcement member. The shuttle includes a clamp for engaging the reinforcement member prior to the movement of the shuttle transversely to feed the strip into the hem forming machine.

摘要： An elastic band feeding and tensioning mechanism and method for the application of an elastic band, having at least a portion thereof tensioned, on a fabric piece fed under a stitching needle of a sewing machine. A footplate guide is provided for positioning the elastic band in alignment on a fabric piece. A sewing guide member is adapted for securement to a foot arm of a sewing machine, and has a jaw opening for receiving the elastic band. A guide mechanism is provided for guiding the elastic band toward the jaw opening. The elastic band is advanced through the sewing machine by the feeddog of the sewing machine and tension is applied to the band by tension members. The tension members comprise a drive and idler rolls driven at a band feeding speed slower than the feeddog, and a further band stretching roll which instantaneously stitches the band between the drive roll and feeddog. A control circuit activates the tension members whereby to feed a predetermined length of the elastic band in a predetermined stretched condition through the sewing guide member for sewing the stretched elastic band on the fabric piece. A cutting element also cuts the elastic band at a predetermined location.

摘要： A button support 53 is upwardly biased and is movable along a vertical axis between three positions. Buttons formed with at least two thread holes are orientated by rotary frictional drive means 60 and 61 through effecting relative rotation between the button support 53 and a button 101 which are located by positioning means 13 and 18 positioning a button above the button support. In the lowest position of the button support, the button support is free to rotate about the vertical axis relative to a button 101 located by the positioning means 13 and 18. In an intermediate position the button support together with the button located by the positioning means 13 and 18 are rotatable about the vertical axis. Pins 54 project upwardly from the button support 53 for insertion in the holes of the button so that the button and button support can rotate together. In an upper position, the button support is locked against further rotation so as to provide a support for buttons in the required orientation.

摘要： Apparatus for delivering buttons to and positively removing them from a sewing station after they have been secured to a fabric. A button loader feeds buttons to a button conveyor which moves them through a sequence of steps. An indexing means actuates the conveyor as well as an orientating means which aligns the buttonholes for the sewing step. After the sewing step a means operates on the button and attached fabric to force disengagement with the conveyor.

An arrangement is provided so that subsequent to the sewing operation, the thread connecting the sewn button to the sewing machine is automatically severed and another button is positively fed from the chute to a position for sewing in the button holder. 摘要： A button-feeding machine for sequentially feeding buttons located in a hopper through a chute to a holder in which the buttons are held in proper position for attachment to a cloth article by a sewing needle. The buttons are supplied in bulk to a hopper where they are oriented and aligned in a chute and then positively fed from the chute to the holder, one at a time by a ram arm whose actuation is controlled by a machine operator. A shoe is provided at the outlet of the chute to hold the ejected button in the proper orientation for sewing.
