    摘要: An apparatus for removing contaminants from raw cotton traveling in an airstream includes a drum which is rotatably driven and mounted to a frame with the drum having a plurality of openings through, and further includes an assembly for directing the raw cotton against the drum, a first suction assembly for drawing contaminants from the cotton which is retained on the cotton collecting surface in a cotton impingement zone, a second suction arrangement for drawing cleaned raw cotton away from the cotton collection surface and including a cotton retention zone wherein the second suction airstream is opposed to the first suction airstream and a cotton release zone wherein the second suction airstream is assisted by atmospheric air in removing clean cotton from the cotton collection surface of the rotatable drum and delivering it to a clean cotton reservoir.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for cleaning or carding textile fibers between a fine cleaning or carding drum (2) with clothing (7) fixed thereon and carding elements (5) surrounding said drum, a clothing (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) also being provided thereon. The teeth (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) of the carding elements (5) are so provided differently in the direction of movement (8) of the rotating drum (2) that the tooth (9), for example, has what is known as a negative carding direction with a relatively large angle (.alpha.) and the tooth (14) a positive carding direction with a relatively small angle (.alpha.) and the teeth therebetween have different attack angles as shown in FIG. 3. This gives different cleaning or carding effects within a predetermined peripheral zone of the drum.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for use in a cleaning process of textile fibers, and for use in conjunction with an opening roller. The apparatus includes a plurality of separating blades and guide elements which are spaced from the opening roller during the cleaning process. An assembly is provided for adjustably positioning a plurality of the separating blades and the guide elements during the cleaning process. The adjustment of the spacing of the separating blades and the guide elements from the opening roller can be accomplished remotely, either manually or by a motorized drive. A lever unit enables appropriate connection for effecting the various adjustments of the separating blades and the guide elements. The guide elements and the separating blades can be controlled and adjusted to suit the fibers to be processed.

    摘要: A secondary impurity-removal recycling system for refining cotton is provided. A first feeding opening is set on the side of the first bin shell, in which the first drum is movably installed, and the first drum is tube shaped. A first mesh is set on the peripheral wall of the first drum, and a first scraper is set at the first feeding opening inside the first bin shell. One end of the first drum is provided with a first impurity-discharging pipe, the outer periphery of which is provided with a first annular hump. The first connecting sleeve is installed on the outer wall of the first bin shell, and the first impurity-discharging pipe is movably stuck in the first connecting sleeve through the first annular hump, and communicates with the first connecting sleeve. The first induced draft fan communicates with the first connecting sleeve through a first air duct.
