    摘要: A melt spinning apparatus is disclosed which comprises a stationary melt supply assembly which includes a spin block, and a nozzle assembly releasably connected to the spin block. The means for releasably connecting the nozzle assembly to the spin block includes a cylindrical connecting plug fixed to the spin block, and a tubular casing for the nozzle assembly, with the connecting plug and casing being threadedly interconnected. The mating threads are preferably in the form of a threaded bayonet joint comprising multiple thread segments so that the nozzle assembly may be attached to and removed from the connecting plug by a partial rotation of the nozzle assembly. Also, the nozzle assembly is sealed to the melt supply assembly by an arrangement which includes a piston mounted for limited movement within the casing of the nozzle assembly and below the connecting plug, and such that the piston is biased into sealing contact with the plug by the pressure of the melt.

    摘要: A melt-spinning apparatus usable for producing various synthetic fibers in various manners, including a polymer melter; a heat-insulating housing having a detachable ceiling cover and a bottom having an opening; a detachable beam block having a cavity formed between a pair of longitudinal side walls, one of which has a polymer melt outlet; a melt-spinning pack arranged below the beam block and having a head projection inserted into the cavity, the head projection having a polymer melt inlet; a polymer melt passage system extending from the polymer melter to the polymer melt outlet; a fixing means for fixing the melt-spinning pack detachably to the beam block including a pushing member for pushing the head projection of the melt-spinning pack toward the longitudinal side wall having the polymer melt outlet to cause the polymer melt inlets to be fluidtightly connected to the polymer melt outlets, and optionally, means for protecting the polymer melt inlet from damage which the melt-spinning pack is inserted into the cavity of the beam block.

    摘要: An improved sealing means is provided in a multiple component assembly for delivering a fluid material under pressure which includes a lower fluid material container section having a cavity formed therein and provided with at least one outlet orifice formed in an outlet surface of the lower fluid material container section, which outlet orifice communicates with the cavity, an upper fluid material container section formed in at least two parts which are arranged in juxtaposed mating relationship and which define a cavity therein, one of the juxtaposed parts having a fluid material inlet in an inlet surface, the inlet communicating with the cavity in the upper fluid material container section. The upper fluid material container section is mounted in superposed mating relationship on the lower fluid material container section and the upper fluid material container cavity is arranged to communicate with the lower fluid material container cavity and thereby define a fluid material chamber. A first sealing means is provided between the mating surfaces of the lower fluid material container section and the upper fluid material container section and is arranged surrounding the fluid material chamber. A second sealing means is provided between each of the at least two parts of the upper fluid material container section adjacent the cavity in the upper fluid material container.
