摘要: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a printable composition that can be used to make printed products of a chosen material chemistry that have different levels of porosity within the printed product's structure Also disclosed herein are embodiments of a printed product that has multiple levels of porosity throughout its structure, which can include a macroscale level of porosity, a microscale level of porosity, a nanoscale level of porosity and any combination thereof. These printed products can be made using a 3-D printer and can be made from a single printable composition without the need to add different structural components during the production process. Also disclosed herein are embodiments of a method for making and using a printed product.

摘要: A dental resin composite comprising a thermally cured composition of polymeric resin monomers and inorganic fillers that comprise at least 80 wt % total filler loading is provided. Mill blocks made from the dental resin composite and produced via free radical polymerization under high-temperature (approximately 160° C. to 220° C.) and high-pressure process (approximately 300 MPa to 560 MPa) exhibited enhanced mechanical strength and good esthetics suitable for use in CAD/CAM indirect restorations such as, inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges.

摘要: An a photopolymerization formulation is provided as is an improved method for forming an object using the formulation. 摘要: Shape-programmable liquid crystal elastomers. The shape-programmable liquid crystal elastomers being synthesized by filling an alignment cell with liquid crystal monomers. The liquid crystal monomers align to a surface of the alignment cell and then are polymerized with a dithiol chain transfer agent. The alignment cell is configured to impose a director orientation on a portion of the shape-programmable liquid crystal elastomer. For some embodiments, liquid crystal elastomer laminates are prepared by arranging a plurality of liquid crystal elastomers such that a director orientation of each liquid crystal elastomer of the plurality is in registered alignment with an adjacent liquid crystal elastomer of the plurality. The arrangement is secured and the plurality of liquid crystal elastomers cured.

摘要: An antifouling film includes: a substrate; and a polymer layer disposed on a surface of the substrate and including on a surface thereof an uneven structure provided with projections at a pitch not longer than a wavelength of visible light. The polymer layer is a cured product of a polymerizable composition. The polymerizable composition contains, in terms of active components, 75 to 95 wt % of a polymerizable monomer, 2.5 to 12.5 wt % of a urethane acrylate containing fluorine and an ester, and 2.5 to 9 wt % of a perfluoroalkyl-based monomer containing one (meth)acryloyl group for each molecule. The polymerizable monomer contains a bifunctional acrylate that contains an ethylene oxide group and a multifunctional acrylate that contains no ethylene oxide group. The perfluoroalkyl-based monomer has a fluorine atom concentration of 50 to 60 wt %. The polymerizable composition has an ethylene oxide group concentration of 20 to 50 wt %.
