    摘要: An escalator or moving walkway is provided with a guide device to maintain the positions of the steps or plates with respect to the escalator sides. A respective guide device is provided at each step side which guides the steps laterally in the horizontal direction and insures a minimum spacing of the step from the base plate of the escalator balustrade base. In the forward run portion of the step belt the guide device engages the base plate, while in the return run portions of the step belt, the guide device engages the side surface of a second guide for chain rollers.

    摘要: In an escalator step having respective supports at each side of its underside, a first fastening is provided at an upper support end for a transport chain and a second fastening is provided at the lower support end for a guide roller. The second fastening consists of a cantilever arm and a bearing pin with a bore, which are integrated components of the escalator step, wherein the escalator step, cantilever arm, bearing pin and bore are produced as a single unitary casting. A countersunk self-tapping screw is used for fixing a guide roller bearing on the bearing pin. A washer lying under the screw presses on an outer ring of the bearing, whereby the bearing is exactly positioned against a shoulder of the bearing pin and held by the washer.

    摘要: A tread unit of a passenger conveyor includes: a tread, a tread reinforcing member and a riser which are made of fiber reinforced plastic made by knitting fibers together. The surfaces of the cleat portions of the tread and the riser are provided with surface treated layers in which the wear resistance and coefficient of friction are controlled. As a result of this construction, the aesthetic design of the tread unit and of the passenger conveyor system can be improved. In addition, the reduced weight of the tread unit contributes to labor-saving at the time of mounting, and a passenger conveyor system using these tread units can be reduced in size and weight as a whole.

    摘要: A passenger conveyer apparatus including a plurality of steps connected to each other in an endless loop, traveling on a forward path, a backward path and a pair of turning paths connecting between opposite ends of the forward path and the backward path. Each of the steps comprising a step tread and first and second guide rollers offset from each other in the traveling direction of the steps. The apparatus also includes a forward rail configured to guide the first and the second guide rollers in the forward path, a backward rail configured to guide the first and the second guide rollers in the backward path, and a pair of turning rails having a curving rail formed in an arc, configured to guide the second guide roller in the turning paths. At least one of the turning rails is formed in a manner such that a line segment drawn between an orbital center of a corresponding curving rail and a first center of the first guide roller makes an acute angle with a line segment drawn between the orbital center and a second center of the second guide roller, and a loci made by respective turning motions of front and rear edges of the step tread cross each other.
