摘要： The present invention is directed to paper roll support device for a rotary press, for supporting a paper roll as well as being capable of rotation and rotation braking together with a paper roll, set so that in the event of a normal stop at the time of normal operation, rotation of the paper roll is stopped after a predetermined rotation braking time has elapsed, while in the event of emergency stop in an emergency, rotation of the paper roll is stopped using a rotation braking time that is shorter than the rotation braking time predetermined at the time of normal operation, comprising: a pair of support means capable of supporting both sides of an inner tube of the paper roll; and pressure change assigning means, capable of reciprocating in the direction of another opposing support means, and providing pressure to at least one support means to cause movement in a direction reducing a distance between a pair of support means, as well as being capable of selectively changing and assigning pressure of at least two magnitudes for carrying out movement in a direction so as to reduce a distance between a pair of support means, wherein in the event of a sudden stop of a rotary press, it is possible to increase contact force between the support means and the inner tube of the paper roll by allowing the support means to increase pressure to cause movement in a direction to reduce a distance between a pair of support means.

摘要： A rotary beam has mounted thereon a pair of carrier arms for rotatably supporting a roll of web from which the web is fed into the press, and another such arm pair for supporting another such web roll to which the web is to be spliced upon consumption of the first web roll. One of each pair of carrier arms has rotatably mounted thereto a hollow spindle to be partly inserted in the tubular core of the web roll. The hollow spindle has detents arranged at circumferential spacings thereon for fluid pressure actuation into frictional engagement with the inside surface of the web roll core. The other of each carrier arm pair has a second spindle rotatably mounted thereto which is to be held endwise against the web roll core via a spring-loaded end cap. How hard the web roll core is urged against the first spindle by the second spindle, resisting the unwinding of the web therefrom, depends upon whether the second spindle is held fast against the end cap or spaced therefrom by the spring. The second spindle is sprung away from the end cap upon decrease of the web roll diameter to a predefined limit, in order to mitigate tension on the web being paid out.

The apparatus also has a proximity sensor, which senses when a hand is placed near the dispenser, and thereupon dispenses a set amount of towel. 摘要： A web handling apparatus includes a base, a housing, a splicing head mounted in the housing, and first and second non-rotatable swing out roll shafts, each shaft having opposite first and second ends. The roll shafts are normally positioned in the housing substantially parallel to the splicing head so that web can travel through the splicing head to on from web rolls on the roll shafts. A web accumulator mounted to the housing conducts web to or from the splicing head and the housing is movably mounted to the base so that the housing can move relative to the base in either direction parallel to the roll shafts. An actuator connected between the housing and the base moves the housing relative to the base in response to signals from a web position sensor so as to minimize the side lay of web extending to or from the apparatus. The splicing head employs special mirror image upper and lower splicing sections which facilitate preparation of the leading end of the ready web while the other web is running and the two splicing sections cooperate to make a consistent high quality butt or lap splices between the two webs.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for receiving, transporting onwards and unwinding coils of rolled strip (WB) which are successively transported to the device from a strip rolling mill or a rolled strip storage unit. The device consists of a carousel-type support (KT) which can be driven in rotation about a vertical axis (VA) and on which a pair of radially projecting, rotationally mounted support mandrels (TD) with axial locking elements are located, these support mandrels being angularly offset from each other about 190null. The carousel support (KT) pivots the support mandrels out of a receiving position (A) for the coils of rolled strip (WB), into an unwinding position (C), about a pivot angle of 180null. The carousel support also has at least two other support mandrels (TD II and TD IV) which are offset from the two aforementioned support mandrels (TD I and TD III) by 90null, respectively. Other processing positions (B and D) for removing the coil binding strip and marking or applying the coil binding strip are provided between the receiving position (A) and the unwinding position (C) and between the unwinding position (C) and the receiving position (A) of the support mandrels (TD I, TD II, TD III, TD IV), angularly offset about 90null, respectively.

After the paper reel (10) has been received by the reel stand (6), the vehicle (12) travels back onto the sliding platform (5), couples again to the carriage (9a) and pushes it back to the waiting station. The vehicle (12) has two pairs of wheels, one of which is drivable, and a pair of pressure wheels which, in a starting position, project beyond the pairs of wheels and can be pressed downwards against an elastic restoring force.

摘要： A paper dispenser including a carriage that is rotatable between at least a first orientation and a second orientation. The carriage holds at least two rolls of paper. In the first orientation, the first roll is in a primary position and the second roll is in a secondary position. In the second orientation, the first roll is in the secondary position and the second roll is in the primary position. A roll sensor senses the amount of paper remaining on the roll held in the primary position. Paper from at least one of the two rolls is fed into a feed mechanism for dispensation. A transfer mechanism feeds paper from the roll held in the secondary position into the feed, mechanism when the roll sensor senses that the paper on the roll held in the primary position is depleted to less than a predetermined diameter.
