Abstract:
A gripper including a receiving end and a locking end and an absorber coupled to at least one of the ends configured to dampen contact forces imparted on the gripper, wherein the receiving end is shaped to marry a container body.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for sorting an item into containers on the side or sides of the device that includes several interconnected bogie assemblies movable in a direction, each bogie assembly includes a base, a right arm rotatable mounted on the base, a left arm rotatable mounted on the base, a right release that holds the right arm in a transport position, and a left release that holds the left arm in a transport position such that when both the right and left arms are in the transport position, the bogie assemblies move the item in the direction along the path and actuating the right release dumps the item into a right side container located on a right side of the device and actuating the left release dumps the item into a left side container located on a left side of the device.
Abstract:
In a method for opening a transport pocket (15), which is moved in a conveying direction (BR) along a running rail (11) extending in the conveying direction (BR) for the conveying of goods suspended on a carriage (12), simple and precise loading and/or unloading of the transport pocket (15) is enabled by the fact that the carriage (12) with the transport pocket (15) suspended thereon is stopped in its forward movement at a predetermined point of the running rail (11) in order to open the transport pocket (15), and that the transport pocket (15) of the carriage (12) is opened for loading and/or unloading of conveyed goods to be transported.
Abstract:
A vending machine is equipped with a dispensing device that includes a plate, a track, carriers, a work station, a driving unit and a sensor. The plate is horizontally placed in a vending machine. The track is connected to the plate. The carriers are movably connected to the track for carrying products. The work station causes a selected one of the carriers to release the corresponding one of the products. The driving unit drives the carriers along the track. The sensor senses the selected one of the carriers and accordingly stops the driving unit so that the selected one of the carriers is placed at the work station.
Abstract:
A transfer system for providing faster and increased volume processing of eggs having an overhead positioned egg conveyor. A rotating brush wheel positioned underneath the conveyor receives eggs and includes a first and second pluralities of bristles having, respectively, lesser and greater stiffness. An egg receiving reservoir exhibits a receiving lane positioned underneath and in alignment with the brush wheel for receiving and redirecting the eggs in a lane dedicated fashion to a subsequent egg handling operation. A plurality of spool bars are arranged in parallel extending and spaced apart fashion and defining a number of individual egg conveying lanes and each further include first and second spool bar portions secured in end-to-end fashion to establish an overall dimension. First and second drive supports are arranged at opposite ends of the spool bar portions, a third drive support arranged within the egg transfer mechanism and supporting opposing and intermediate engaging ends of each pair of spool bar portions. The intermediate drive support prevents sagging of the intermediate ends of the spool bar portions
Abstract:
An apparatus for temporarily storing products at the exit of a quilting machine comprising an inclined guiding element along which at least one carriage, provided with an element for gripping the product manufactured by the quilting machine, can slide by gravity, a first and a second stop elements for the carriage being arranged along the guiding element, and actuation elements, which act on the grip element to release the removed product, being associated with the stop elements. The carriage released by the second stop element is transferred onto a vertical lifting unit, which is provided with retention and release elements for retaining the carriage at the lower stroke limit and releasing it at the upper stroke limit to insert the carriage on the guiding element.
Abstract:
An apparatus for conveying, grouping and storing flat articles includes a storing device which has a plurality of gondolas each having a plurality of vertically spaced, generally horizontally oriented, superposed storing shelves; a gondola support and conveying mechanism for carrying the gondolas and moving them in a predetermined travelling path; an input station situated along the travelling path for presenting the gondolas in succession to receive articles; and an output station situated along the travelling path for presenting the gondolas in succession to discharge articles. There are further provided a conveyor situated at the input station for advancing articles thereto and for placing articles on the storing shelves of the gondola dwelling in the input station; and a grouping device for removing articles from the superposed storing shelves of the gondola dwelling in the output station and for forming article stacks of the removed articles.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a method as well as the equipment for the automatic sorting of goods transported in file hanging on hangers and provided with codes, in particular garments hanging on coat hangers, in a sorting equipment with an overhead conveyor system, whereby a determined hanger belonging to a hanger file is discharged in a programmed fashion, based on the coding, from one of several delivery stations located in a delivery stretch, and whereby before being transported to the delivery stretch the hanger is placed on an intermediate hanger which is equipped with a roll in order to be rolled off, hanging on a guide rail of the conveyor system of the sorting equipment.
Abstract:
This relates to an unloading mechanism for unloading blow molded articles from collects carried by a pallet. At an unloading station there is provided a plurality of vertically disposed, guided plungers or ejectors which are carried by a common support and which are spaced along the path of a pallet in accordance with the spacing of collects caried by the pallet. A single actuator carries the support for the movement of the support and the plungers in unison, whereby all blow molded articles carried by collets of a pallet are simultaneously unloaded or discharged. This abstract forms no part of the specification of this application and is not to be construed as limiting the claims of the application.
Abstract:
Conveyor load transfer apparatus, including a follow-up carriage movable in the direction in which a conveyor moves and driven by a double-acting cylinder. A transverse carriage is supported on the follow-up carriage and is movable perpendicular to the running direction of the conveyor, being driven back and forth by a transverse motor mounted on the follow-up carriage. An article-handling segment, driven up and down by an elevation drive source, is mounted on the transverse carriage. A follow-up detector is mounted on the follow-up carriage to generate deviation signals representing relative positions of the follow-up carriage and an article-supporting device of the conveyor. A double-acting cylinder expands and contracts according to the motion of the follow-up carriage, and is connected to a pressure-compensating solenoid flow-rate regulating valve with a check valve connected between the two ports thereof. The elevation drive source includes two individually controlled double-acting air cylinders arranged in series, one air cylinder having a buffering device including a check valve connected between the two ports thereof and a throttle valve, with a check valve, connected to the rod-side port thereof.
