    摘要： A method of displaying an article, a package configured to display a selected portion of an article, and a blank for forming a rectangular box, which is configured to contain an elongate body are disclosed. The method includes establishing a box structure having an inner cavity and a side portion; dividing the side portion into a lower retention portion, and upper retention portion, and a window recess portion, the dividing including: establishing a side recess panel at a location along a side panel of the box structure; establishing a front recess panel along a front panel of the box structure, the front recess panel adjacent the side recess panel, the front recess panel having a greater width than the side recess panel; and establishing the window recess portion by folding the first and front recess panels into the box structure.

    摘要： A divided display carton is disclosed which is designed to hang suspended from a pair of hooks, pegs, or similar devices, and which is divided into two display compartments. The display partition includes a partition bottom flap designed to be glued into the bottom structure of the carton so that the carton is rigid and durable. The blank for the carton is designed so that successive blanks cut from a continuous piece of stock material can be nested into each other to save stock material.

    摘要： A tray and blank therefor constituting a shipping container with two or more open top compartments separated by a divider especially constructed to act as a strut to rigidify the tray and to support the central region of the bottom wall of the tray against bulging or sagging. The divider includes a horizontal top panel and a pair of integral vertical flaps all extending from side to side of the tray and the pair of vertical flaps also extending from fold lines along the edges of the top panel downwardly to the bottom panel thus forming a rigid hollow strut of rectangular cross section. Glue flaps integrally formed in the bottom panel are bent upwardly along spaced parallel lines into vertical planes and are adhesively secured to the inner surfaces of the vertical divider flaps inside the divider or strut. The adhesive joints by which the bottom panel is secured to the strut thus lie in vertical planes whereby the forces which would tend to make the bottom panel bulge or sag away from the strut are transferred to the strut in the shear direction of the adhesive joints, the direction in which such joints are strongest.
