摘要: A pontoon is provided, comprising a plurality of pontoons. The plurality of pontoons may include a port-side pontoon, a starboard-side pontoon spaced from the port-side pontoon, and at least one a middle pontoon positioned intermediate the port-side pontoon and the starboard-side pontoon. A deck may be coupled to each of the port-side pontoon, the starboard-side pontoon, and the at least one middle pontoon. A manifold system may be positioned within the middle pontoon, and the manifold system may comprise a first portion including a first fluid conduit having an inlet in fluid communication with an exterior of the middle pontoon. The manifold system may further comprise a second portion removably coupled to the first portion and having a second fluid conduit positioned to receive fluid from the first fluid conduit. The manifold system may still further comprise a third portion including a third fluid conduit positioned to receive fluid from the second fluid conduit and having an outlet in fluid communication with the exterior of the middle pontoon. The second portion may be removably coupled to the third portion. Further, a motor may be coupled to the manifold system.

摘要: A pontoon boat is provided that includes a deck and a plurality of pontoons running longitudinally beneath the deck and providing buoyancy to the pontoon boat. The plurality of pontoons include a multi-chine configuration that increases the stability of the pontoon boat and provides handling characteristics similar to that of a hulled boat. The plurality of pontoons may include two outer pontoons and a third pontoon positioned laterally intermediate the outer pontoons. The third pontoon may include a plurality of chines, and each of the outer pontoons may include at least one chine. At least a portion of each of the at least one chines of the outer pontoons may be positioned vertically below the plurality of chines of the third pontoon. The chines on the third pontoon may extend longitudinally further than each of the at least one chines of the outer pontoons.

摘要: A system for enhancing a wake profile produced by a pontoon boat is provided. The system includes a pair of ramps attached to the bottom of a platform supported by at least two pontoons. The ramps may be oriented downward with a rear end of the ramp disposed in the water between the pontoons. The water flowing between the pontoons is displaced downward by the ramps, thereby increasing water displacement and directing the water to produce an improved wake profile. Downforce may be applied to the boat by one or more wake plates, with a faceted portion of the wake plate facing forward and upward, such that when water impacts the faceted portion a downforce is provided. The wake plates may be attached to the ramps or may be separate from the ramps.

摘要: A stowable propulsion system for a marine vessel. A base is configured to be coupled to the marine vessel. A propulsion device is configured to propel the marine vessel in water. A shaft extends along a length axis and pivotably couples the propulsion device to the base. The propulsion device is pivotable into and between a stowed position and a deployed position, wherein pivoting the propulsion device causes the shaft to rotate about the length axis.

摘要: Disclosed is a floating island construction method for overall transplantation of sandy soil plants, the method comprising the following steps: separation from a surrounding soil body; construction of a buoyancy tank device (13); and waterproof construction, so as to construct a plant floating island from plants to be transplanted in a reservoir area. The floating island protects all the root systems of the plants and most of the undisturbed soil, improves the survival rate, preserves the unique landscape of an original habitat, and can be constructed at the same time as water conservancy project construction, which saves on the construction period, saves costs, and is convenient for on-site overall scheduling.

摘要: A stowable propulsion system for a marine vessel. A base is configured to be coupled to the marine vessel. A shaft has a proximal end and a distal end with a length axis defined therebetween, where the shaft is pivotably coupled to the base and pivotable about a transverse axis between a stowed position and a deployed position, and where the distal end is closer to the marine vessel when in the stowed position than in the deployed position. A gearset is engaged between the shaft and the base, where the gearset rotates the shaft about the length axis when the shaft is pivoted between the stowed position and the deployed position. A propulsion device is coupled to the distal end of the shaft. The propulsion device is configured to propel the marine vessel in water when the shaft is in the deployed position.

摘要: The invention generally relates to the measurement and predictions of conditions and contaminants; chemical, particulate and gaseous in and around water impoundments. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of an autonomous watercraft to analyze the chemical and physical properties of a body of water, such as a pond holding water used in a hydraulic fracturing operation.

摘要: A flat catamaran watercraft construction is provided having a bow that defines a “split V” configuration in which the bottom surface of each of the two asymmetrical catamaran hull portions at the forward section of each hull portion slope upward from the inboard side of the hull portion to the outboard side of the hull portion. Such upward slope of the bottom of each hull portion sheds water and waves to the outboard sides of the vessel as it travels through the water in order to minimize the amount of water and spray that is directed upward between the individual hull portions towards the passengers. The rear portions of each such hull portion define an angled slope along both inboard and outboard sides, which angled slopes allow the rear portion of the watercraft to slide and drift sideways along the surface of the water as the watercraft turns. The flat catamaran hull portions and deck of the watercraft are preferably of unibody construction, such that they are formed (e.g., molded or otherwise machined) in a single, one-piece assembly.

摘要: A docking system for a boat includes spring-loaded bumpers that protrude from the bow of the boat, thereby enabling a boat operator to dock the boat against a vertical structure such as a seawall. Anchors are mounted with respect to the seawall to which ropes may be tied to secure the boat and maintain contact between the bumpers and the seawall. Anchors may be supported above the water level by floats, which automatically adjust the height of the anchors in response to changes in the water level.

摘要: A boat may have a deck and a plurality of pontoons or hulls supporting the deck of the boat. The boat may include a starboard side pontoon, a port side pontoon, and possibly a middle pontoon. A positioning assembly may be provided with one or more of the foregoing pontoons. Each of the positioning assemblies may comprise a link assembly coupling the deck to the starboard side toon, wherein the link assembly is configured to permit pivoting of the starboard side toon relative to the deck from a retracted position, where the starboard side toon is proximate to an underside of the deck, to an extended position, where the starboard side toon is moved further from the underside, and an actuator provided to position the starboard side toon between the retracted position and the extended position. The boat may further include a leveling control system having a controller and a level sensor configured to detect an attitude of the deck, the controller in communication with the actuators and cause actuation of either or both of the actuators to extend or retract the port side toon and/or the starboard side toon based on data received from the level sensor indicative of the deck attitude.
