    Abstract: A boat includes a controller that is communicatively coupled to a control screen. The controller has stored therein a plurality of modes corresponding to an activity and includes a plurality of controls corresponding to the activity. The controller is configured to display on the control screen, when one of the modes is activated, the plurality of controls for the activated mode. The activated mode may also be an operating mode that corresponds to an operational condition of the boat. The boat may include a processor that is configured to generate an adjusted audio signal by selecting one or more of a plurality of subranges of frequencies of an audio signal and adjusting the selected subranges to compensate for at least one environmental condition associated with the operational condition of the boat corresponding to the operating mode.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a boat windshield comprising providing a piece of glass of an arbitrary shape to form a portion of a boat windshield; and providing a mold or cast defining a cavity for molding or casting an appropriate material therein. The cavity defines a shape of a frame to be molded or cast and having a shape complementary to a contour of the corresponding piece of glass having the arbitrary shape, said frame having otherwise an arbitrary frame shape including variable cross-section, width or thickness along a length thereof; or it can longitudinally extend in a curved manner. After molding or casting said frame (alternatively: additive manufacturing), together with functional features, said frame is secured to the corresponding piece of glass or encapsulating the corresponding piece of glass into said frame having been molded or cast, forming a sub-frame assembly being a panel of the boat windshield.

    Abstract: A cockpit covering system for a small boat comprises a tent or cover comprising a plurality of walls portions, each of the plurality of wall portions having a lower portion and wherein the tent is sized to extend over a recessed area of a cockpit and enclose an interior that extends from above deck height to below the height of a base layer. The base layer is attachable to the lower portion of each of the plurality of walls and positionable around the cockpit outer perimeter. A compressible gasket below the base layer rests on a deck of the small boat around the cockpit outer perimeter. A plurality of webbing straps extend from the outer perimeter of the boat to the cockpit outer perimeter and are attached to the tent covering system. Tension applied to the plurality of straps extending from the small boat outer perimeter to the cockpit outer perimeter compresses the compressible water and/or bug proofing layer to form a seal around the cockpit recessed area. Pole bracket housings may be provided on webbing straps to secure tent poles at deck level at various locations on the deck.
