    摘要: A method for improving the curvilinear running speed of railway vehicles and the small tilting system: when the railway vehicle is driven on a curve, the raising and falling of air springs on both sides of the railway vehicle are controlled by a control assembly to realize small tilting of the railway vehicle toward the inner side of the curve; the transverse component of gravity after the small tilting of the railway vehicle is used for balancing part of the centrifugal force and reducing the influence of the centrifugal force, thereby improving the curve driving speed of the railway vehicle; and at the same time, an adjustable torsion bar system is controlled to provide a unidirectional anti-rolling torque for preventing the railway vehicle from rolling toward the outer side of the curve without hindering the railway vehicle from tilting slightly toward the inner side of the curve.

    摘要: A bogie for a railway vehicle includes a frame, which has a first side beam and a second side beam extending along a longitudinal axis of the bogie and spaced apart from each other. A secondary suspension system is located on the frame and includes a first suspension assembly, which includes a first air spring and a first auxiliary spring positioned at the first side beam. The first air spring is positioned below and is arranged to be pressurized for supporting the body of the railway vehicle above the frame. The first auxiliary spring is fixed to an upper side of the first side beam underneath and spaced apart from the first air spring. The first suspension assembly further includes a first force-transmission mechanism configured to transmit forces exerted by the body on the first air spring to the frame via the first auxiliary spring.

    摘要: A symmetrical multi-unit railroad freight car, such as a 3-pack railroad intermodal well car, has body units that are connected symmetrically. The body units have a symmetrical arrangement of end trucks and shared trucks. The end trucks are 70 Ton Trucks. The shared trucks are 125 Ton trucks. The trucks have passive steering using geometric rocker stiffnesses. The rockers in the end trucks have a smaller radius of curvature than the rockers in the shared trucks. The spring groups in the shared trucks are stiffer than the spring groups in the end trucks. The spring groups in the end trucks have a different proportion of damping when empty, a shorter live load range of travel, and greater reserve travel than the shared trucks. The end trucks and the shared trucks have four-cornered damper groups that have the same sized damper wedges. The damper wedges have non-metallic wear pads.
