摘要: A gondola car has a body for lading carried on an underframe. The underframe includes a center sill and cross-bearers. The car has deep side beams having top chords, side sills, and side sheets. The lower portion of the car includes tubs that seat between the cross-bearers. The car may have an internal volume of more than 8000 cu. ft. The car may have rotary dump claw sockets. The car has opposed internal and external stiffeners aligned at the longitudinal stations of the cross-bearers. The internal stiffeners may be triangular cantilevers extending upwardly inside the side sheets. The side sheet lies intermediate the stiffeners and their flanges. The top chords may be wider in cross-section than the side sills. The side sills may define torque tubes that co-operate with the sidewall stiffeners and the top chords to resist lateral deflection. The car may include a false deck, or dog-house at one end to accommodate the brake reservoir and brake valve, such that the car is longitudinally asymmetric.

The bottom member has increased thickness in the transition areas of the bearing surfaces into the diagonal tension members, and the vertical ribs have thickness increased at the top of the center bowl area, the rounded transitions of the sloping walls into the bottom member bearing surfaces have a radius exceeding the radius of the rounded transitions of the vertical walls into the said bearing surfaces.

摘要: Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a chassis component of a railway vehicle, and a railway vehicle. The chassis component includes two lower boundary beams provided at an interval and a sleeper beam provided between the two lower boundary beams. The sleeper beam includes: a web structure; a center pin, connected with a bogie of a railway vehicle; and a mounting frame, connected with the web structure, the center pin being provided on the mounting frame, the mounting frame including a plurality of vertical plates, and the plurality of vertical plates being provided at an interval along an outer wall surface of the center pin. The technical solution of the present disclosure can solve the problem in the related art of insufficient connecting strength of a center pin and a web structure of a sleeper beam.

摘要: A bogie assembly for a rail vehicle comprises a bogie frame, two wheel axles supporting the bogie frame, a primary of a linear induction motor and two motor mounts. The two motor mounts are located proximate a different extremity of the primary and support the linear induction motor underneath the bogie frame. Each one of the two motor mounts has a bogie interface, a motor interface, a first spring, a conical spring, a core pin and a nut. The first spring is connected to the bogie interface on the bogie side while the conical spring is connected to the same bogie interface on the motor side. The core pin extends sequentially from the motor interface through the conical spring, then through the bogie interface and finally through the first spring where it is held in place by the nut on the other side of the first spring.

The support frames and rail cars may be used for conveying bulk materials on a rail transport system.

摘要: A well car for carrying shipping containers has a pair of end structures supported by rail car trucks, a pair of first and second spaced apart side beams extending between the end structures and a well defined therebetween. A container support cross member is mounted between the side sills in a position to support an end of a shipping container load carried within the well. The container support cross member may be a monolithic beam member with a attachment fitting formed at an end thereof. The attachment fitting is connectable to a side sill at a moment connection. The remaining end of the cross member is similarly configured and connected to the second side sill. Each end of the cross member has load bearing surface portions which may be used for supporting a corner of a shipping container. The moment connections permit a bending moment to be carried by the cross member between the first and second side sills.
