    摘要: The invention is a vehicle wheel with a removable vehicle wheel ring and vehicle wheel sized and shaped to simulate the look of a bead-lock vehicle wheel. It has the same appearance as an off road bead lock vehicle wheel. This vehicle wheel can be fabricated without modifying an existing wheel and is street legal wheel and capable of mass-production. The wheel is capable of production at a fraction of the cost of an actual bead lock wheel. The wheel can be produced with a matching or contrasting color for the simulated outer bead lock ring. The simulated outer bead lock ring can have a light reflective surface so that the ring will become much more distinguishable when a light source strikes it. The simulated outer bead lock ring has a far greater ease of interchangeability than a conventional bead lock vehicle wheel.

    摘要: A wheelchair having a chassis formed of flat plate which is folded to define a lower chassis, a chassis back, and an upper chassis. The lower and the upper chassis each have a pair of elongated substantially parallel arms that extend from respective land portions of the chassis. The arms define openings in distal portions for receiving caster wheels. Drive wheels connect to axle mounts that are selectively positioned for track, camber, and height, which axle mounts connect to the chassis back. A seat support attaches to the chassis for supporting a person in the wheelchair and includes independently adjustable height, longitudinal position relative a seat back, and angle. A pair of push handles attach to the chassis back and pivotally connect to the seat support for selective positioning of the angle of the back.

A biassing member such as a magnet 60, a spring 37 or a tube 50 of resilient material biases the locking element 10 into the secured position.

    摘要: A combining device provided between a wheel and an axle includes a main body fixed in the center hole of a wheel, a pull handle fitted in the main body, and a combining base secured at one end of the axle. The main body is formed with a hollow interior for the combining base to be inserted therein. The pull handle is fitted around with a spring for pressing down a shaft under the pull handle. The shaft is inserted in the interior of the main body and restricted to stay in a position-limiting section of the combining base positioned in the main body. The main body is provided on top with a deep and a shallow groove formed crossing each other for the pull handle to rest therein through pulling and shifting. Thus, the shaft under the pull handle is controlled to let the wheel engaged and disengaged from or detached from the axle.

The wheel rim has opposing inside and outside major surfaces. The outside major surface defines a rim bed for mounting a vehicle tire. The inside major surface includes an inwardly-extending annular shoulder. A plurality of circumferentially spaced rim bosses are formed with the annular shoulder of the rim, and are adapted for engaging the outer margin of the wheel center. A corresponding plurality of circumferentially spaced fastener holes are formed along the outer margin the wheel center, and are adapted for aligning with the rim bosses formed with the rim. A plurality of fasteners are received through the aligned rim bosses and fastener holes to attach the rim and the wheel center together.

    摘要: A quick release detachable wheel hub assembly is shown for a lightweight manual wheelchair. The wheelchair wheels mount on exterior hubs and rotate therewith. The inner face out of each of the exterior hubs mates with an opposing outer face of interior hubs. One of the opposing faces on the hubs has a projection or a plurality of projections which fit snugly into corresponding openings on the opposing face of the other hub when the opposing faces of the hubs are mated. The interior hubs are mounted and rotate on detachable axles which screw into the wheelchair frame. A quick release, removable locking pin is inserted through the center of the hubs and into detachable axle and locked in place and thereby causing the hubs to be locked and rotate together. The wheels are quickly detached by simply removing the locking pins and pulling apart the hubs.
