Abstract:
An apparatus for making spin art is provided. In the apparatus, a spinnable platen is conformed for removably supporting a substrate, a stroboscope is arranged for flash illumination of a substrate mounted on the spinnable platen, and at least one laser pointer is cooperatively configured with a pigment depositor such that in operation, the pointer illuminates the substrate portion that is user-selected for deposition of pigment material by the pigment depositor.
Abstract:
A one-piece-single-unit device comprising a portrait and landscape painting tool for a method of directly flowing liquid paint material with precision on a canvas with a disposable cup. The device includes a plurality of connected vertical sections comprising: 1) container section having a handle; 2) a funnel section having a bowl shape and a narrow opening end connected to a tube; 3) a tube section; 4) a scoop section; and 5) a flat section.
Abstract:
A head-measuring device is disclosed and includes a support frame. The head-measuring device also includes a plurality of movable arms comprising a first set of movable arms and a second set of movable arms. The first set includes a first outermost arm, the second set includes a second outermost arm opposite the first outermost arm, and each movable arm is movable between a first position and a second position. The head-measuring device also includes a stationary arm coupled to the support frame such that the stationary arm is approximately equidistant between the outermost arms as the outermost arms are moved between the first and second positions. The plurality of movable arms are parallel to each other and to the stationary arm. The first and second sets of movable arms are mechanically linked such that the first set moves synchronously with the second set between the first and second positions.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a carrier-type sand art experience box in which various patterns are formed by scattering sand and a work of art is formed by radiating light. The carrier-type sand art experience box includes: a box-shaped case body inside which is formed a space part, and on the top of which is formed an edge part; art glass which is seated inside the edge part of the case body, and on which sand is scattered; a backlight which radiates various types of light onto art sand formed by a user from a surface below the art glass; a control unit which is seated on one side of the case body, which controls the backlight, and which is provided with an on/off switch; and a cover which selectively opens and closes the top of the case body, and which surrounds the art glass.
Abstract:
A holder for a paint striping tool as provided than has a plurality of guide pins which allow for engaging a temporary template to allow for the precise painting of single and multiple paint strips.
Abstract:
A flexible painter's string with pressure sensitive adhesive is provided. The painter's string provides edging for non-linear surfaces and provides a three-dimensional painting guide.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to hand tools, and more specifically, to a hand operated application tool for the application of vinyl film materials. The application tool includes a head portion having an elongated relatively thin blade member constructed from a substantially rigid material. A strengthening rib is formed along a top edge of the blade portion allowing the lower portion of the blade member to be formed thinner than would be possible without the rib while still maintaining a substantially rigid tool. A handle member may be attached to the rib portion of the blade member to allow for one handed operation of a blade having an elongated working surface. A layer of padding material is preferably attached along the working surface of the blade member to compensate for slightly uneven surfaces while applying even pressure across the entire working surface of the blade.
Abstract:
A system, method and apparatus is disclosed for coloring a substantially wicking substrate comprising applying to a substantially wicking substrate an ink comprising a first dye and a second dye to define a region of reference; applying a first solvent to the substantially wicking substrate to move the first dye and the second dye within the body of the substantially wicking substrate; moving the two dyes in a defined direction to carry the two dyes outside of the defined region to color an area of the wicking substrate to color at least a portion of the substantially wicking substrate.
Abstract:
An apparatus for creating a random image is disclosed. The apparatus has a first support member with a hanging applicator member movably connected thereto. The hanging applicator is provided with at least one reservoir of material to be applied to a substrate. The reservoir has a delivery means extending from the reservoir for transporting the material to a brush means. The brush means provides a random pattern of material to a substrate in response to pressure from flowing air.
Abstract:
A powdered chalk line dispenser comprising a housing formed from at least two mated together cover plates, which define a cavity with an opening and a threaded aperture; a spool assembly is located in said housing cavity; a chalk line is wrapped around said spool and extends outwardly of the housing through the opening in the housing; a spring and manual lever are attached to the spool to cause the spool to rotate in a direction to apply a force to the chalk line to wrap the chalk line around the spool; an aperture in said housing is internally threaded for attachment to an externally threaded chalk supply bottle which supplies chalk into the cavity for coating the chalk line.
