Abstract:
A device having a pair of upright members for holding a display panel which in one embodiment is movable between a vertical upright position to a lowered angularly disposed position suitable for writing on the panel. The panel display member is adapted to receive a plurality of sheets of paper arranged in a sequential order, the plurality of sheets being limited to half the number of sheets in the sequence with the identifying indicia on opposite sides of each sheet being spaced apart one-half the total units in the total sequence. A series of vertically arranged decorative panel portions may be positioned on the back side of the display panel.
Abstract:
A desk organizer tray, comprising a tray portion, an extension portion extending from the tray portion, and an attachment element applied to the extension portion. The tray portion contains a receptacle for holding desktop items. The tray portion is constructed of a plurality of superimposed board members, each of which contains a hole pattern. The hole patterns of the board members are in registration with one another to form the receptacle. The extension portion includes a board member that extends from the tray portion. The board members of the tray portion are mounted on the board member of the extension portion. The attachment element is applied to the board member of the extension portion. The attachment element serves to attach a desk pad to the extension portion, adjacent to the tray portion.
Abstract:
A safety oriented article of giftware is provided by fastening a cushioning pad (15) to the coarse underside of a rectangular highway pavement lane delineator marker button (10), or a circular convex button (20). This modification structurally alters the function of buttons (10, 20) to serve as a safety catalyst for traversing the imaginary highway of life. Added structural accoutrements, such as a plaque (30), a conventional audio device (22), and a pen funnel (36) further modifies the buttons (10, 20) to provide a greater use of their safety stimuli. Also, caricatures, or images of famous or well-known persons, places and things may be used to provide a new tool and method of creating information, both visual and auditory, so that organizations can convey safety and quality assurance in products and services. Structurally modifying buttons (10, 20) greatly broadens the use of their normally passive, inert safety stimuli, and brings their catalytic safety qualities to the fore. Buttons (10, 20) provide the readily recognizable reference point for safety marking today's superhighway of life.
Abstract:
A one-piece molded plastic computer workplace organizer can be screwed to a baseplane such as a pull-out keyboard shelf of a computer desk. A mouse pad is located to the front of the organizer unit which provides a passageway for retaining the mouse cord in place so as to overcome the common problem of the mouse unit working its way to the rear and falling off the shelf edge, especially when the shelf is being pulled out. Storage for several 31/2" diskettes is provided with asymmetrical bistable support positioning: a nearly upright rearwardly-inclined working position and a low profile forwardly-inclined storage position. With the organizer mounted on the pull-out keyboard shelf, upright diskettes will be automatically flipped forward to the low profile position by the shelf edge for storage under the desk counter top when the shelf is pushed back into the storage position. The organizer also provides a tray for pens and pencils, a holder for page-by-page dispensing of an adhesive note pad, a compartment for small items such as paper clips, and a support channel along the rear for business cards or the like.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is related to an improved tape dispenser having a gun-shaped housing and operated by a trigger in operative association with a number of interconnected links so that a cutting blade disposed at the gun point can be actuated to laterally move for cutting off the rolled tape and smoothly dispensing the same simultaneously.
Abstract:
A multi-function fastening device which includes a stapling function as well as a tape dispenser, further having an ergonomic design with contoured cushioned hand gripping portions and graphical or advertising imprinted material on its outer surface(s). The Tapeler may further include a clip for quick attachment to a belt or to another article.
Abstract:
A device for filling a writing utensil with a writing liquid has a container having an interior for receiving the writing liquid and a container opening for refilling the interior with the writing liquid. A receiving member is inserted into the container opening so as to provide a tight seal between the receiving member and the container opening. An air inlet connection connects the interior to the atmosphere. A capillary conveying connection, including a first and a second end, is provided for conveying the liquid from the interior to a writing utensil, wherein said first end opens into the receiving member for contacting a writing tip of a writing utensil to be inserted into the receiving member. A seal, connected to the receiving member, seals the writing utensil inserted into the receiving member toward the atmosphere.
Abstract:
A scaled-down basketball goal, backboard, and basketball standard attached to a base in the shape of a scaled-down basketball key. Said base has at its front end a highly magnetized concaved portion which can attract and hold numerous paper clips. The miniaturized basketball hoop has a funnel attached to it. This funnel has a basketball net painted or imprinted on it. The hoop and funnel are located directly over said concaved portion of the base portion so that when paper clips are tossed through said hoop, they will fall directly into the highly magnetized concave portion of this invention.
Abstract:
A desk set with integrally formed swivel clamping means which can be injection-molded without use of a cam-action mold. The swivel clamping means comprises four semicylindrical clamping members (28) inclined toward each other to form a socket for a ball (26) attached to an accessory support stem (24) for holding a pen (30), a clock (32), or the like. To increase friction between the ball (26) and the socket, the socket clamping members (28) each include an inwardly pointing lip (46) and the surface of the ball (26) is covered with alternating slots (38,42) and ridges (40,44).
