    摘要: An adaptive device for aiding a person with a medical condition is provided. The adaptive device is attached to a hand or limb and includes a platform. A bumper is positioned on the platform to aid in the positioning and securing of the device. A holder extends from the platform, either perpendicularly or at an angle to the platform. The holder is configured to receive an item to aid the individual in everyday tasks. The device also includes securing members, which may be straps that are connected to the device to further aid in securing the device to the user. Additionally, the device may include cushions or other comfort members on the bumper, platform, and/or holder.

A bias force can be provided to resists tilting of the mouse tray away from a horizontal position, so that as the operator moves a mouse over a top surface of the mouse tray, a weight of the operator's hand on the mouse overcomes the bias force and causes the mouse tray to tilt.

    摘要: A bridge is sized to span across an entire painting surface and is supported above the image by vertical spacers that adapt to vary the distance between the painting surface and the bridge. The bridge height above the image surface may be varied with the use of height adjusting supplemental vertical spacers. The bridge is made up of an upper block and a lower block, where the upper block can be temporarily separated from the lower block. Each block may include a resilient material such as a thin neoprene layer or other suitable material on the respective mating surfaces, such that the resilient layers are pressed against each other when the halves are connected and held in place by fasteners. Between the resilient layers, the artist can place any desired drawing guide, and the guide is held firmly in place by the non-slip quality of the resilient layers.

    摘要: A computer mouse having a separately movable hand rest. The mouse comprises a housing having a conically shaped depression within a top wall of the housing tapering to an aperture through the top wall. A connecting pin extends through the aperture with an interior end secured within the mouse housing. A hand rest providing support to the heel and palm of the hand is orbitally connected to the connecting pin by an aperture through the hand rest located within a concave portion sized to fit within the depression of the mouse housing. The hand rest has an arcuate shaped bottom portion and a base end moving about the mouse housing during use to maintain alignment of the hand rest with the hand. The housing moves free of interference from the hand rest adjacent the arcuate shaped bottom portion. A tensioning means tensions movement of the hand rest about the housing.
