Abstract:
According to an embodiment, an image erasing apparatus includes an erasing unit, an input unit, and a control unit. The erasing unit erases an image formed on a recording medium. The input unit inputs identification data which identifies an apparatus which forms the image on the recording medium. The control unit controls an operation of the erasing unit based on the identification data input by the input unit. According to another embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit which forms an image on a recording medium, the erasing unit, the input unit, and the control unit.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a color erasing apparatus includes a color erasing section which erases a color of an image formed with an erasable color material on a sheet conveyed at first speed, a reading section which reads an image on the surface of the sheet conveyed at second speed higher than the first speed, a first conveying section, and a second conveying section. The first conveying section includes a first conveying roller arranged downstream in a sheet conveying direction of the color erasing section and conveys the sheet at the first speed. The second conveying section includes a second conveying roller arranged upstream in the sheet conveying direction of the reading section and in a position where the second conveying roller nips the conveyed sheet simultaneously with the first conveying roller. The second conveying section conveys the sheet to the reading section at the second speed.
Abstract:
A device for erasing an image on a sheet includes a reading unit that reads an image formed on a sheet. An erasing unit erases the image formed on the sheet by heating the sheet after the sheet has passed through the reading unit. A conveyance path conveys the sheet from the erasing unit back to the reading unit. The conveyance path includes a curved portion between the erasing unit and the reading unit. A cooling unit cools the sheet which passes through the conveyance path. The cooling unit includes at least one fan that supplies cooling air generally along a sheet conveying direction. A rate of the cooling air supplied to an outer peripheral portion of the curved portion of the conveyance path is larger than a rate of the cooling air supplied to an inner peripheral portion of the curved portion of the conveyance path.
Abstract:
Provided are an image erasing apparatus which erases an image printed on a sheet and an image forming apparatus having an image erasing function. The image erasing apparatus and the image forming apparatus each include a readout unit, an erasing unit, and a control unit. The control unit acquires authentication information of a user who uses the apparatuses and allows the erasing unit to erase the image when determining that the acquired authentication information coincides with authentication information read out by the readout unit.

Abstract:
An image erasing apparatus includes: a paper feeding tray configured to feed a recording medium; a sensor group including a double-feed detection sensor configured to detect double feed of the recording medium and a media sensor configured to detect the thickness of the recording medium; a recording-medium collecting device, a collection box, or a discharge box configured to collect the recording medium; and a recording-medium conveying device connecting the paper feeding tray, the sensor group, and the recording-medium collecting device, the collection box, or the discharge box on a straight line.
Abstract:
In an image forming device, the print head performs a bi-directional printing including a first print while being moved in the first direction and a second print while being moved in the second direction. The conveying mechanism conveys the recording medium a first amount prior to the first print and a second amount prior to the second print. The relative tilt offset amount indicates an offset between tilts of the print head when the print head is moved in the first direction and when the print head is moved in the second direction. The tilt calibration value is determined based on the relative tilt offset amount. The conveying amount setting unit sets the first amount to a calibrated amount obtained by calibrating a prescribed amount based the relative tilt offset amount or the relative tilt calibration value prior to the first print and that sets the second amount to the prescribed amount prior to the second print.
Abstract:
In order to reuse print sheets, a region on a printed sheet where old information is printed is detected and a region corresponding to the region where the old information is printed is identified as an erasing region. A pattern corresponding to the erasing region is printed on the erasing region with erasing ink or toner, which has a different color from a color of printing ink or toner, whereby the printed old information is erased. Then, new information is printed on the print sheet, from which the old information has been erased, by use of the printing ink or toner.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive correction tape having concealing properties and improvements in deterioration with time in an adhesive layer while not causing any blocking phenomenon and being excellent transfer cutting properties. The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape comprising a correction concealing layer on one side of a sheet substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided thereon containing a concealing material wherein the thickness in total of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the correction concealing layer is 50 .mu.m or less and the ratio in thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the correction concealing layer is in the range of 1:1 to 1:4.
Abstract:
A thermal recording medium is provided for recording dot thereon by an opaque state thereof when applied with thermal recording energy and for erasing dot therefrom by a transparent state when applied with thermal erasing energy. The thermal energy is supplied from a thermal head to the recording medium as multiple pulses in a one-dot forming period. Heat generated from the thermal head is controlled by an activation pulse computing section to gradually increase the recording energy and erasing energy to be applied to the recording medium to provide a gentle change in the temperature rise of the recording medium, thereby reducing the temperature change per unit time and ensuring finer control, thus accomplishing stable information recording and erasing.
