Abstract:
An air-conditioning apparatus including heat source apparatuses each including a compressor and an accumulator includes: a refrigerant amount calculation unit that calculates an amount of the refrigerant accumulated in the accumulator in one of the heat source apparatuses that is to be controlled; a refrigerant differential amount calculation unit configured to calculate, when the number of the heat source apparatuses is two, a differential amount between the calculated amount and an amount of the refrigerant in the accumulator in the other heat source apparatus, and calculate, when the number of the heat source apparatuses is three or more, a differential amount between the calculated amount of the refrigerant and an average amount of amounts of the refrigerant accumulated in the accumulators in the heat source apparatuses; and a liquid equalization control unit that controls the heat source apparatus to be controlled, based on the calculated differential amount.
Abstract:
A coping sled with improved hold down clamp for clamping a piece of wood while cutting the piece of wood with a cutting tool. More specifically, the coping sled of the present invention provides various systems to eliminate unintended movement and facilitate different types of intended movement: lateral, horizontal, vertical, and pivotal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for holding prosthetic teeth (2), the device comprising a negative form (1) and at least one clamping unit (6), wherein in the negative form (1), recesses (4) for holding coronal sides (12) of the prosthetic teeth (2) are provided, wherein the recesses (4) are formed in such a manner that the prosthetic teeth (2) can be inserted in an unequivocally position and orientation into the recesses (4), wherein the at least one clamping unit (6) is affixable or is affixed to the negative form (1) with a connecting means (10), and wherein the at least one clamping unit (6) has at least one elastic holding means (8), wherein with the at least one elastic holding means (8), an elastic force is exercisable or is exerted from at least two different directions onto the prosthetic teeth (2) inserted into the negative form (1), while the at least one clamping unit (6) is affixed to the negative form (1), so that the prosthetic teeth (2) are affixed in the device. The invention also relates to a method for affixing, and preferably processing, prosthetic teeth (2) and a set for implementing such a method, having several prefabricated prosthetic teeth (2) and at least one such device.
Abstract:
Embodiments generally relate to a clamp. In one embodiment, the clamp includes a bar, and a first jaw, movable along the bar and positioned on a first side of the bar. The clamp also includes a second jaw positioned on the bar on a second side of the bar, opposite the first side. The clamp also includes an actuator for moving the first jaw toward the second jaw for clamping one or more workpieces, and the actuator includes one or more drive plates operatively coupled to the bar when the first jaw is in a driving mode.
Abstract:
A clamping device is configured to ensure that a workpiece fixed between the jaws of the clamp is self centered by coupling the jaws to a pair of linkages that rotate through the same angle as the application of a first causes the jaws to translate in linear fashion across the surface of the device. In particular, the clamping device utilizes coupled linkage (e.g., a 180° bell crank), in combination with slots for retaining opposing jaws and maintaining only linear movement of the jaws, thus providing a fast and accurate self-centering arrangement. The clamping device may also be located within a hollow workpiece and controlled to move the jaws outward and engage the inner surface of the hollow workpiece in a self-aligned configuration.
Abstract:
A work bench including a frame and a table surface connected to the frame. The table surface includes first and second table surface members. The first table surface member is movably coupled with the frame and has first and second ends. The work bench also includes a first user-actuatable drive member for moving the first end of the first table surface member, a second user-actuatable drive member for moving the second end of the first table surface member and a third user-actuatable drive member for moving the first end and the second end of the first table surface member concurrently.
Abstract:
An incremental forming machine binder is provided that has a blank holding opening that may be subdivided into smaller blank holding openings. The opening is subdivided by one or more clamping modules that are connected by connecting modules to each other and the frame. Clamps are attached to the clamping modules to clamp blanks in the blank holding openings. Multiple blanks may be secured to the binder for incremental forming.
Abstract:
A clamping device includes two springs, a first barrel, and a second barrel. Each of the two springs includes a first end and a second end. The first barrel is attached to the first ends of the springs, and includes a number of first clamping portions, a number of first slots, and a first receiving space. The first clamping portions and the first slots are alternately arranged around the first receiving space. The second barrel is attached to the second ends of the springs and received in the first receiving space. The second barrel includes a number of second clamping portions, a number of second slots, and a second receiving space. The second clamping portions and the second slots are alternately arranged around the second receiving space. The second barrel is rotatable relative to the first barrel in the first receiving space between a first position and a second position.
Abstract:
A cart system is provided for a coil of a dynamoelectric machine. The cart system includes one or more support rails disposed substantially horizontally, a plurality of lifting rails disposed substantially vertically, and connected at one end to the one or more support rails, and a plurality of coil clamps for applying a compressive force. The coil clamps are attached to the lifting rails in a removable manner. The coil of the dynamoelectric machine can be placed on the cart system and the coil clamps can be arranged on the lifting rails to apply a compressive force to the coil to facilitate a testing procedure.
