摘要: The invention relates to a peeling wheel for manufacturing a toothing on a gear wheel by skiving. The peeling wheel includes a toothing, which is formed by a plurality of equally shaped cutting teeth arranged and distributed around the rotational axis of the peeling wheel at a first pitch and at least one deviating cutting tooth, whose shape is different from the shape of the equally shaped cutting teeth. The cutting teeth include cutting edges with which they come into chip removing engagement with the material of the gear wheel during the skiving processing.
In order to be able to produce toothings with such a peeling wheel with increased freedom in the design, the invention proposes that the deviating cutting tooth is arranged outside of the first pitch (p).
The invention also relates to a method for producing a toothing on a gear wheel by skiving using a peeling wheel.-

摘要: A designing method of a gear skiving cutter that includes: constructing a cutter manufacturing tool with a plurality of asymmetrical tooth structures and a base material for the gear skiving cutter; simulating relative movements of the cutter manufacturing tool and the base material based on multi-axes in a relative motion coordinate system to have the cutter manufacturing tool process the surface of the base material; and forming a plurality of cut teeth on the base material by the plurality of tooth structures of the cutter manufacturing tool. An outer contour of each cut tooth is designed in advance so that gear teeth on a gear workpiece with a planned grinding allowance can be formed when the gear workpiece is processed by the gear skiving cutter. The grinding allowance on either side of each gear tooth can be kept uniform, and the grinding allowance on both sides of each gear tooth can be closely the same.

摘要: A tool for hob peeling rotating workpieces having pre-machined teeth comprises a gear-wheel shaped main body and tooth-shaped cutting inserts (1.2) which at the end face in the region of the tip circle are disposed on the main body. Each cutting insert comprises at least one cutting tooth. The cutting tooth forms a cutting edge (6) which runs at least along one of the flanks of the cutting tooth, and a cutting face and a clearance face. The cutting face along the cutting edge is provided with a cutting face chamfer (7) which in relation to the cutting face (5.5) runs so as to be inclined by a chamfer angle. The chamfer angle varies along the cutting edge. Moreover, the cutting edge is rounded by a radius.

The cutting insert includes an insert body having a bottom surface extending in a first plane, and a body axis extending substantially in parallel with the first plane. The insert body has a cutting end portion and opposite thereto, an abutment surface. The abutment surface extends substantially perpendicularly to the body axis and to the first plane. 摘要: Method of manufacturing teeth, notably of gearings having their outline cut integrally by means of a pinion-tool, wherein an apparent outline of theoretical pinion-tool for different states of wear of said tool is calculated from the outline of the desired workpieces and of its generating rack ; from the surfaces of the teeth of the theoretical pinion-tool a theoretical hob is calculated for generating said surfaces ; a simplified hob is then made from said theoretical hob, and used for milling piniontools adapted to produce rough-cut gears after sharpening the leading faces of said pinion-tools ; the outlines of these gears are then compared with the desired outline for any possible correction of the simplified hob outline and the resultant correction of the pinion-tools and workpieces ; this method is applicable to the cutting of spur or helical teeth, whether of the involute type or not, for both internally toothed and externally toothed gears, by using milled pinion-tools.
