摘要: A method for preparing nanometer MAX phase ceramic powder or slurry having a laminated structure by means of ball milling and regulating the oxygen content of the powder. Micron-sized MAX phase ceramic coarse powder is adopted as a raw material, during ball milling, a gas or a liquid-state gas having a special effect is introduced into a ball milling tank, and by means of multi-dimensional functions and regulation such as ball milling parameters and gas reaction, the nanometer laminated MAX phase ceramic powder or the slurry containing the component is obtained. The surface components and the activated state of the powder are regulated while the particle size adjustment control of the powder is realized.

摘要: A flue gas desulfurization unit is converted from operating with lime or magnesium enhanced lime under inhibited oxidation into a unit that operates using limestone under inhibited oxidation conditions. A ball mill grinding unit may be installed to crush the limestone thereby producing a suspended slurry of fine limestone particles which is pumped to the reaction vessel. When installed, the ball mill may be installed in the process immediately downstream of the existing slaking equipment. The suspended solution may be maintained at a pH in the range of 3.0 to 6.5, optimally at approximately 5.0 to increase the dissolution rate of the limestone reagent produced by the ball mill. The post-conversion process may also require the addition of organic acids and oxidation inhibitors to achieve better SO2 removal from the flue gas.

摘要: Provided is a simple, fast, scalable, and environmentally benign method of producing a graphene-reinforced polymer matrix composite directly from a graphitic material, the method comprising: (a) mixing multiple particles of a graphitic material and multiple particles of a solid polymer carrier material to form a mixture in an impacting chamber of an energy impacting apparatus; (b) operating the energy impacting apparatus with a frequency and an intensity for a length of time sufficient for peeling off graphene sheets from the graphitic material and transferring the graphene sheets to surfaces of solid polymer carrier material particles to produce graphene-coated or graphene-embedded polymer particles inside the impacting chamber; and (c) forming graphene-coated or graphene-embedded polymer particles into the graphene-reinforced polymer matrix composite. Also provided is a mass of the graphene-coated or graphene-embedded polymer particles produced by this method.

摘要: A rotary milling system includes a rotatable body having a cylindrical portion and at least one variable diameter portion. The variable diameter portion is tapered toward an opening in a sidewall of the rotatable body a discharge grate. The body can include grinding media for abrading a product when the body is rotated. The product can be milled as a dry product or within a liquid medium. The tapered shape of the body urges milled product toward the opening and the discharge grate. The system can include a discharge housing surrounding the discharge grate and a conveying pipe in fluid communication with the discharge housing, with a valve disposed between the conveying pipe and the discharge to selectively allow milled product to be conveyed through the conveying pipe.

摘要: A motorized drum has a drum shell having an inner periphery and a central axis, with a motor and a reducer disposed therewithin for delivering rotary power to the drum shell at a determined region thereof. A mounting face system has a mounting face arrangement that receives components to be attached to alter the length of the motorized drum. The mounting face arrangement is disposed at an end of the motorized drum distal from the region where the reducer delivers power to the drum shell. The mounting face arrangement limits the flexure of the attachable components such that the deflection curve is continuous to reduce stress concentration.

摘要: A milling jar has a jar body and a jar neck. The jar body has an internal surface and an external surface. Ridges with gently sloping slides, called “lifters,” are formed by indenting the surface of the jar wall so that the internal surface projects toward the center of the jar. Because the depressions (on the external surface) and the lifters (on the internal surface) are segmented, portions of the circumference of the jar remain cylindrical. The jar neck has a lid that secures the materials inside the jar when the lid is fastened.

摘要: A multi-chamber inclined ball mill comprises a base, a frame-shaped support member rotatably supported on the base, and a grinding chamber rotatably supported on the frame-shaped support member. The grinding chamber is constituted of at least three cylindrical chambers each provided with outwardly tapered protrusions at its opposite ends and the cylindrical chambers integrally formed so that their longitudinal axes mutually intersect at the centers thereof and form a common grinding space at their region of intersection. The grinding chamber is supported on the frame-shaped support member such that the longitudinal axes of the cylindrical chambers intersect the axis of rotation of the frame-shaped support member at a single point and at one and the same angle.
