    摘要: The invention relates to a system for trapping atmospheric emissions, made up of a liquefaction tank which contains a liquid that traps the dust, smokes or gas, which are injected into the same through a main duct, to which the source of the emission to be trapped is connected, said duct including a first fan which operates by absorbing and propelling the dust, smoke and gas, guiding same into the liquefaction tank, said duct being sealed at the end of thereof, the side walls of the duct comprising at least ten outlet openings, the invention also comprising a system with at least two walls with the same effect and perforations, this causing the liquefaction of the trapped material, likewise, the invention comprises a cooling system, which guides the liquid from the tank into a serpent coil and from there to a pump which generates the recirculation of the liquid; at the top of the tank, the invention comprises an outlet duct via which the gases produced by liquefaction are guided into a compressor, which has the function of compressing the gases and injecting same into a first gas-storage tank.

    摘要: A compact and energy-efficient polluting gas desulfurization apparatus which reduces gas flow pressure loss and the consumption of electrical power. A drum is rotationally supported at its radial center by a horizontal shaft within a fixed duct having a gas inlet port at one end and a gas outlet port at the other end. The right and left sides of the drum and its circumferential surface are lattice-like structures, and the internal space of the drum is filled with gas-liquid contact filler pieces. A slurry holding tank is disposed beneath the rotating drum. Slurry, which is pumped upward by a circulation system, is discharged onto the top of the circumferential surface of the drum at a point offset from the horizontal shaft along the radial axis, thus forming a mechanism able to rotate the drum from the weight of the slurry only and thus eliminating the need for an electric motor.

    摘要: Gases containing solubles or suspended particles are mixed with a scrubbing liquid in a mixing apparatus having a chamber with a rotatable wheel mounted therein. The gas is mixed with a scrubbing liquid by the rotating wheel which has first and second scrubbing surfaces including vanes for creating turbulence and moving the gas through the chamber. The vanes on the first scrubbing surface increase in height from the axis of the wheel to its periphery to move gas radially outwardly. The vanes on the second scrubbing surface increase in height from the periphery to the axis of the wheel to move the gas radially inwardly.

    摘要: A device for simultaneously filtering and humidifying an air flow uses an outer casing having a rotatable, reticulated filtering element. The air flow enters the casing and must pass through the filtering element by making abrupt change in directions. Particles in the air flow, due to their greater inertia, will not be able to follow the air flow and, therefore, will not pass through the filtering element. There are expelled through an opening. The air flow exists through an outlet that is within the perimeter of the filtering element. A water projector serves to both humidify the air flow and wetten the filter elements surface in order to capture particles in the air flow.

    摘要: A waste gas scrubber includes a hollow, cylindrical atomizer, mounted for rotation about its longitudinal axis. The atomizer is partially submerged in a pool of liquid. The atomizer has relatively large openings at its two ends, and has a plurality of closely-spaced vanes along its middle section. Waste gas is drawn into the openings at one end of the atomizer, and is combined with liquid scooped in by the vanes when the atomizer rotates. The liquid tends to absorb and/or encapsulate particulates in the gas stream. The resulting fluid is then drawn out of the atomizer through the openings at its other end. A blower provides negative pressure which draws the fluids through the desired path, and which overcomes the centrifugal force produced by rotation of the atomizer. Substantially the entire interior region of the atomizer is used for scrubbing, so that the scrubber is much more efficient than waste gas scrubbers of the prior art.

    摘要: Air containing foreign particles is admitted into a cylindrical portable housing at the input end and cleaned air is discharged from the outlet end. A liquid supply has an open bath at the bottom of the housing. A source of liquid is controlled to supply liquid to the bath upon the level of the liquid falling below a predetermined magnitude. A spray sprays liquid from the bath into the housing, whereby foreign particles in the air entering the housing are coated with the liquid. Air entering the housing throws the liquid-coated particles onto a helical vane affixed in the housing. The particles are dispersed by the vane and helical ribbons mounted on the vane. A rotary vane has a plurality of blades mounted for rotation within the helical ribbons, and the blades collect and coalesce liquid mists on their surfaces. Air entering the housing rotates the blades, and the foreign particles are dispersed from such blades and helical ribbons mounted in the housing and extending from the blades of the helical vane onto all surfaces in the housing and into the liquid bath, while clean air is discharged at the outlet end.
