Abstract:
A magnetic spinning toy that includes: a top magnetic stem; a bottom magnetic stem; a cylindrical core; a rod extending from each end of the cylindrical core creating a top rod and a bottom rod, where the top magnetic stem extends from the top rod and bottom magnetic stem extends from the bottom rod; a plurality of rotating wings mounted on the cylindrical core; and a connector for each rotating wing, wherein the connector includes a pivoting connection to each wing. The top and bottom magnetic stem may include a copper tube with embedded magnets. Preferably each pivoting connection includes a notch and a rivet.
Abstract:
A lawn ornament includes at least one frame assembly configured, during operation of the lawn ornament, for non-independent rotation about a first axis and independent rotation about a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis. The at least one frame assembly includes a plurality of rotatable members, each rotatable member in the plurality of rotatable members being configured for selective, independent movement about the second axis between a first position that facilitates storage of the outdoor lawn ornament and a second position that facilitates the operation of the outdoor lawn ornament.
Abstract:
All-shape building blocks may be shaped as platonic solids. All-Shape building blocks include a flange on each tetrahedron edge, where each flange and each tetrahedron vertex may include magnetic materials (e.g., magnets, ferromagnetic metals). All-Shape building block flanges may be used to capture kinetic energy from a fluid. Multiple All-Shape building blocks may be combined to form larger structures, and the included magnetic materials may be used to retain the formed geometric structure shape.
Abstract:
A game call having a mouthpiece with an internal latex diaphragm and secured to said mouthpiece is a diaphragm plunger which is operable by pressing an artificial tongue-like pliable section into contacting with the diaphragm, thereby changing the pitch of the sound produced.
Abstract:
Wild game calls comprising combinations of main housings, mouthpieces, lids, bellows, pitch adjusters, air chambers, adjustable seals, and air-activated sound-producing members, used for attracting wild game.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of making noise comprising a noise maker comprising a proximal cylinder portion 20 and a distal cylinder portion 60, a large internal member terminating in at least one finger 38; at least two reeds 40 secured in a manner so that it is positioned adjacent the respective finger 38, but not in contact with the respective finger 38, to create a respective air gap 70 between the finger 38 and the reed 40; whereby at least two air gaps 70 exist for the creation of noise.
Abstract:
A switching arrangement capable of being actuated by an application of an air current with a playset component, a movable member for receiving an application of an air current relative to the playset component wherein the movable member for receiving an application of the air current is movable in response to the application of the air current, and an arrangement for actuating a response to a movement of the movable member for receiving an application of the air current. The switching arrangement can be electrical or non-electrical. Where the switching arrangement is electrical, it can cause an electrical signal to be produced in response to a sensed movement of the movable member.
Abstract:
A game call having a mouthpiece with an internal latex diaphragm and secured to said mouthpiece is a diaphragm plunger which is operable by pressing an artificial tongue-like pliable section into contacting with the diaphragm, thereby changing the pitch of the sound produced.
Abstract:
A pinwheel includes a first axis, which supports a hub. A plurality of protrusions is connected to the hub and radially extending from the hub. Candy items are attached to a plurality of the protrusions. The candy items may include a plurality of different flavors or colors to concurrently provide a user with a variety of flavors to taste.
Abstract:
A toy comprising a housing, a turbine-generator, and a light source. An inlet directs water into the housing and one or more outlets allow the water to exit as a stream or a spray or as a combination of the two. A turbine within the housing rotates in response to the force of the flowing water as it comes in contact with turbine vanes causing the turbine to rotate. The rotation of the turbine operates a generator to create electrical energy to light a light source. The light source will preferably be one or more light emitting diodes that respond to a control signal generated by a controller in an assembly carrying the light source. The control signal causes the lights to flash or to change color in accordance with the movement of the water or any other desired pattern.
