Abstract:
A trampoline module for use with a plurality of physically interconnectable marble run modules includes a connecting boss, a concave shell, and a resilient head. The connecting boss is configured to connect to a corresponding connector on at least one of the physically interconnectable marble run modules, and defines a connection direction. The concave shell is arranged at least in part above the connecting boss, and includes a perimeter rim. The resilient head is affixed to the concave shell and over the perimeter rim, such that the resilient head defines a first planar surface. The first planar surface defines a first plane having a first direction perpendicular to the first plane, wherein the first direction and the connection direction are non-parallel.
Abstract:
A stackable track assembly and method for stacking a booster and/or track frame is disclosed. The stackable track assembly includes a base, a track portion disposed in the base, and a frame extending out of the base and laterally across the top of the base. The stackable track assembly further includes a tab and slot for laterally coupling two track assemblies. The stackable track assembly further includes a receiving member and engagement member for vertically and/or laterally coupling two track assemblies. In some implementations, the track assembly may include a booster for accelerating a toy vehicle.
Abstract:
A toy vehicle track set is provided. The toy vehicle track set comprises a plurality of track segments. Each track segment of the plurality of track segments has a coupling portion and a plurality of lanes for toy vehicles to race along. The plurality of track segments may be collectively positioned in a racing configuration or a transport configuration. The track segments are coupled together to form a multi-lane raceway in the racing configuration. One or more track segments of the plurality of track segments are positioned to form a rectilinear transport structure in the transport configuration.
Abstract:
A circuit arrangement for a model car racing track, having at least two tracks for model cars, wherein a positive busbar and a negative busbar are in each case assigned to each track, and a first driving speed controller is connected between a positive supply terminal and the positive busbar of the first track and a second driving speed controller is connected between a negative supply terminal and the minus busbar of the second track.
Abstract:
A track for a toy vehicle and a track section that is used to form the track. In one embodiment, the track section includes a first edge, a second edge, and an upper surface extending therebetween; a first connector extending from the first edge, the first connector comprising an inner surface that defines a receiving cavity and an outer surface comprising a plurality of detents; a second connector extending from the second edge, the second connector being spaced apart from a portion of the second edge by a gap; and first and second slots extending from the second edge towards the first edge to form a hinge section of the track section between the first and second slots, the hinge section comprising the portion of the second edge of the track section.
Abstract:
An aesthetic insert adapted to be received between a wheel-bearing rail and the center rail of extant model railroad track, and in its installed position at least partially covers or hides the side of the center rail, camouflaging it and rendering it less noticeable. The installed insert superposes portions of and simulates the presence and/or appearance of a crosstie surface. The insert may be a separately installable, individual element, or a plurality of interconnected individual elements installable as a group and interconnected by one or more connecting members.
Abstract:
A method and a device for controlling and/or monitoring a plurality of racing vehicles on a racetrack which are controlled by participants in a race is disclosed. Each racing vehicle provided with one vehicle memory in which vehicle data which are read out from a receiving/reading device assigned to the racetrack are stored in a database. Each participant in the race is provided with separate a participant memory in which participant data is stored, the participant data being read out from a receiving/reading device and stored in the database in which the vehicle data are also stored. The vehicle data and participant data which are stored in the database are assigned to one another. The vehicle data and participant data are read and the assignment of the vehicle data which are read with the participant data which are read is compared with the assignment which was previously assigned.
Abstract:
A toy vehicle track kit which imparts a self-guiding capability to a toy vehicles via guide rails interposed between wheels of toy vehicles. The self-guiding capability also permits passing or side-by-side racing of one toy vehicle with respect to another.
Abstract:
A carrier and a conventional toy vehicle have mating structures to releasably connect the two together. The carrier is configured to support the vehicle to run along a T shaped portion of the monorail track. The carrier has a main housing having the mating structure and a through channel on upper and lower sides. Rollers support the carrier to move on the upper running surface of the track while other structures extend beneath the running surface to capture the surface in the through channel. Weights are supported from the main housing in legs extending below the main housing, through channel and running surface.
Abstract:
A vehicle track play set includes a base, a plate coupled to and extending upwardly from the base, and first and second tracks extending along the plate toward the base. The first track includes a first curved portion extending outwardly from a first surface of the plate and a second curved portion extending outwardly from an opposite second surface of the plate. The first track extends through a first opening in the plate between the first and second curved portions. The second track includes a third curved portion extending outwardly from the second surface and a fourth curved portion extending outwardly from the first surface. The second track extends through a second opening in the plate between the third and fourth curved portions.
