    Abstract: A sanitary cover for cakes includes a base serving as a platter for the cake as well as a storage compartment for a removable candle deck when not in use. The cake cover is placed atop the base platter and the candle deck is positioned and securely lockable to an upper recess of the cake cover. The candle deck is held securely in position with circumferential sliding connecting unit locks, which are cantilevered inward from the rim of the depression on top of the cake cover and which are engageable with sliding tabs of the candle deck. A central molded integral handle is provided on top of the cake cover, and the integral handle extends through a corresponding central hole in the center of the candle deck.

    Abstract: A manual device maximizing application of butter to an ear of corn. The manual device includes a bottom portion, a top portion, and a butter applicator. The bottom portion rests on a support surface, carries the butter, and rotatably carries the ear of corn. The butter applicator is rotatably connected in the bottom portion, maximizes the application of the butter to the ear of corn when the butter applicator is rotated, which in turn rotates the ear of corn. The top portion is optional and when used is operatively connected to the bottom portion, is for maintaining the ear of corn in the bottom portion during rotation, and prevents the butter from splashing during rotation.

    Abstract: A device for buttering an ear of corn having a butter stick platform and a corn rest. The butter stick platform has an upper butter base surface for supporting a butter stick, and a peripheral wall extending downward to a base. A containment wall can surround and be separated laterally from the peripheral wall to provide a trough between the peripheral wall and the containment wall. The corn rest has a corn base having a concave upper surface with openings for placement thereupon of an ear of corn, and a frame having side walls that extend downwardly partly into the trough when the corn rest is in a first position resting upon a stick of butter. As the butter stick melts and is used, the frame rides downward into the trough to maintain contact between the ear of corn and the butter stick.

    Abstract: A lid for a beverage cup includes: (a) a radial collar configured to engage with a rim of a drinking cup mouth, having an inner radial surface and an outer radial surface; (b) an outer reservoir wall extending axially upward from the outer surface of the radial collar and enclosing a reservoir chamber above the radial collar, and including an upper rim; (c) a reservoir floor extending radially inward from an upper end of the inner surface of the radial collar and substantially closing the reservoir chamber from below the reservoir floor, the floor including a fluid path opening providing at least part of a fluid path extending upward through the reservoir chamber, the fluid path opening being positioned along a first diametrical line extending through the reservoir chamber; (d) an inner wall separating the fluid path from the reservoir chamber substantially in the shape of an upside-down funnel extending upward from the floor, having a minor diameter extending above a vertical level of the upper rim of the outer reservoir wall to form a spout; and (e) a cap connected to the upper rim of the outer wall with a first living hinge and including a first segment with a hole adapted to receive the spout.
