摘要： An information display system is disclosed. A work environment providing a work area and a workstation including the information display system are also disclosed. The information display system includes a track system adapted to attach to a mounting structure and a plurality of display panels coupled to the track system for movement with respect to the mounting structure. The display panels are adapted to present information selectively for display by pivotal and translating movement of the plurality of display panels. The track system may include at least one rail. The display panels may be cantilevered away from the track system at a vertical elevation to provide clearance below the display panels for a seated worker. The information display system may include a plurality of containers coupled to the track system for movement with respect to the mounting structure, with each of the plurality of containers is adapted to include at least one display panel. Each of the display panels is adapted to present information and the information can selectively be presented for display by movement of the plurality of containers. Each of the display panels may include at least one display board. A docking area may be positioned along the track system and configured to at least partially conceal at least one of the display panels. A utility threshold may be adapted for movement along a predefined path about the work area to selectively deliver utilities to at least one portion of the work area. The work environment may provide a work space that can be arranged or divided to include at least one work area within the available floor space. In the work area, the display panels may be moved from a first arrangement to at least a second arrangement. The first arrangement allows one worker to use substantially all available floor space; the second arrangement allows a plurality of workers to share the available floor space so as to facilitate the utilization of the floor space by workers present in the work environment.

摘要： The Village Wall system utilizes furniture, equipment, components, and accessories in the creation of unique office designs. Two parallel rails are attached to existing walls and support fixed tackboards and rolling accessories, e.g., markerboards, shelves, bookcases, etc. An outrigger beam is releasably connected, orthogonally, anywhere along the length of one of the rails. The other end of the outrigger beam is fixed to a pedestal which rotatably supports a work surface. Electrical power and communication services are provided through a wire managing service zone attached to the existing wall, a wire managing channel formed in the outrigger beam, a wire and cable storage facility within the interior of the pedestal, and through a grommet to the top of the work surface. Work areas without walls are defined by the location of the work surface along the existing wall.

摘要： A workspace display comprises a sidewall partition defining a workspace with a portal opening and a door partition to selectively close the portal. A first display screen is disposed on the interior side of the door partition for individual viewing from inside the workspace. A second display screen is disposed exterior of the sidewall partition and positioned a spaced apart distance in general alignment therewith, without substantial interference with user ingress and egress through the portal opening. A video device is positioned overhead in optical communication with the first display screen when the door partition is in its fully closed position to support individual activities. The video device is in optical communication through the portal opening with the second display screen when the door partition is in its fully open position to support group activities. An image on the second display screen can be viewed on either the interior or exterior screen surfaces. The first display screen and the interior and exterior screen surfaces of the second display screen form dry erasable markerboards.

摘要： A furniture system is particularly adapted to support group activities in open plans, and the like. A plurality of columns support an overhead framework on the floor of a building in a freestanding fashion at a predetermined elevation, generally above average user height. A plurality of individual panels are provided, wherein each panel is constructed to permit easy, manual, bodily translation of the same by an adult user. A hanger arrangement is associated with the overhead framework, and cooperates with connectors on the panels to detachably suspend the panels at various locations along the overhead framework. The panels are manually reconfigurable between many different arrangements to efficiently and effectively support different group activities. Preferably, the panels are capable of providing a partitioning function to visually divide at least a portion of the workspace, and/or a display function to facilitate group communications.
