    Abstract: The present embodiments relate to a hair drying system that allows for proper drying of hair and a scalp of a user underneath hair or hair accessories (e.g., hair extensions) to avoid or minimize scalp damage, mold or mildew and to ensure that the hair dries properly. The hair drying system can include several flexible tubes that delivers air through the holes of the tubes. The tubes can be secured on the head of a wearer such that the air is directed to underneath the hair extensions or any other portion of the head where the wearer intends to dry the hair. The hair drying system can be portable, making it easy for users to carry the hair drying system anywhere, and can be mounted on a height adjustable stand for ease of use.

    Abstract: A hair dryer with an ionizing solution provides a translucent reservoir which contains an ionized solution. The hair dryer heats the solution into a vapor, and may then be used to apply the ionized vapor to a salon client's hair while styling it, to prevent brittleness, damage, and split ends. In one embodiment a cradle is provided for recharging a handheld hair dryer and storing various attachments which are ready for immediate use. When separated from the handheld hair dryer, the cradle transfers electric power to the hair dryer via resonant inductive coupling, creating an oscillating magnetic field which is converted to electric power by components within the hair dryer. A second embodiment provides a standing hair dryer. The hair dryer also provides wireless internet and power outlets for mobile electronic devices.

    Abstract: A housing has upper and lower walls. The upper wall has fixed and movable sections. The housing has a fixed end wall and a movable end wall. The housing has side walls. The side walls couple the fixed end wall, the fixed section of the upper wall, and a portion of the lower wall. A first hinge couples the movable end wall with the lower wall remote from the fixed end wall. A second hinge couples the movable end wall and the movable section of the upper wall. A baffle is provided parallel with and spaced from the fixed end wall. The baffle forms first and second zones. The first end zone is provided between the baffle and fixed end wall.     Abstract: The heat treatment apparatus comprises at least three, preferably four, infra-red radiators with arcuate linear heating elements. Two radiators are arranged laterally and one, preferably two, central radiators are arranged above the human head. A support arm is displaceably mounted on a ground stand or a wall bracket.     Abstract: A portable hair dryer which includes a base, a head supporting assembly, and a dryer head assembly which automatically increases in volume when unlocked from a storage configuration. The dryer head assembly includes a generally annular air distribution plenum therein for receiving drying air and directing it generally radially inwardly, and a hood or cover which is pivotally mounted in respect to the annular plenum. The portable hair dryer is of the hard-hat type having the general configuration of an articulated, collapsible Z, and the entire base and head supporting assembly nests for storage within the head assembly, even though the volume of the head assembly is substantially smaller in the storage configuration than in the expanded or raised operating configuration. Upon being unlocked from the nested storage configuration, the hood or cover is automatically raised with respect to the plenum to increase the volume within the head assembly for receiving a greater portion of the head of the user in the head assembly. The cover is automatically lowered with respect to the plenum when the unit is locked into a nested storage position with the hood closely overlying the plenum to provide an effective dust and contamination shield. In a preferred embodiment, a vent gap between the hood and plenum is automatically created at the upper-front region of the user''s head space. A non-jamming latch mechanism automatically pivots the shell to the raised position.
