    摘要: A handheld tool is for facilitating installation of a resilient, elongate, generally rectangle-profiled gasket designed to tightly fit inside and along the partially obstructed perimetric channel of a watertight doorway onboard a marine vessel. As typically embodied, the inventive tool includes a straight handle (e.g., shaft or rod) and a head. The head includes a right-triangle profiled section and an L-shape-profiled section. The handle is perpendicularly connected to the hypotenuse surface of the right-triangle profiled section. The L-shape-profiled section has two interior surfaces forming an interior right angle that faces away from the hypotenuse surface. The bisector of the interior right angle is parallel to the handle and perpendicular to the hypotenuse surface. A user holds the inventive tool by the handle, controls the gasket so that a rectangular corner portion of the gasket fits inside the L-shape-profiled section's interior right angle, and forcefully manipulates the gasket into the channel.

In a further aspect, a tool is rotated to disengage a central tongue of a fastener from a photovoltaic frame. Yet another aspect employs a tool to compress a finger and/or wing to allow fastener removal from a strut.

    摘要: A cutting tool key is suitable for mounting and extracting a cutting insert into and from an insert receiving slot of a cutting tool holder blade. The key includes an elongated protrusion having first and second engagement portions with a pivot axis formed in the first engagement portion. The insert receiving slot has a holder axis extending in a forward-to-rearward direction, and a clamping-jaw surface facing a base-jaw surface. The base jaw surface has a holder-passage opening out to the holder's side surfaces, and the insert has an insert-passage opening out to the insert's lateral surfaces. The first and second engagement portions engage the holder-passage and insert-passage, respectively, with the pivot axis in the holder-passage. Rotating the key in an extraction direction about the pivot axis applies extraction-force on the insert. Rotating the key in a mounting direction, opposite to the extraction direction, applies a mounting-force on the insert.
