Abstract: In a spring-loaded curtain mount, the mount includes a pole interface at a proximal end, a compressive mechanism, and a head at a distal end. The pole interface is adapted to receive the end of a standard length adjustable pole or a painter's pole. The compression mechanism is disposed between the proximal end of the mount and the head. The mount includes a coupling device adapted to receive a portion of a curtain. During installation, the curtain mount is coupled to the end of an extension pole and the length of the pole is adjusted such that the combined length of the pole and mount is slightly longer than the distance between the floor and ceiling. At ground level, a portion of the curtain is attached to the head of the curtain mount. The curtain and mount are raised to the ceiling and the mount and pole are compressed between the floor and the ceiling. This compressive force operates to urge the head toward the ceiling, securing the mount in place.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for moving pipe on a rig floor between a number of different stations are provided. Generally the apparatus includes pipehandling equipment arranged to interact with an off-floor rack, a preparation opening, a borehole, and a storage area, such that tubulars can be loaded onto the drill floor, prepared at the preparation opening, loaded onto or off of the storage rack, and connected to a drill string while drilling is simultaneously conducted at borehole. In one embodiment, the system includes at least two pipehandling devices for communicating pipe between a storage area off the drill floor, a storage area on the drill floor, at least one preparation opening, and a drill opening.

Abstract: A not rotatable enclosing buckle of fabric article, including a female buckle body formed with a shaft hole passing through a bottom end thereof and a male buckle body including a main body and a nail post upward projecting from the main body. The nail post penetrates through the fabric article and inserting into the shaft hole of the female buckle body so as to latch the male and female buckle bodies on the fabric article. Abstract: A plastics button assembly comprises an outer body component, an inner body component trapped substantially non-retrievably within a recess in the rear of the outer body component, and a cloth cover substantially covering the front of said outer body component, the edges of which are trapped securely between the engaging surfaces of said outer and inner body components. A shank extends from within the recess of the outer component and the inner component is engaged about and supported by the shank. The inner component is a specially shaped annular plastic washer having a flat inner face and a contoured outer face. An annulus of reduced thickness extends about a central aperture, and this annulus is surrounded by an annulus of maximum thickness which tapers towards the periphery of the washer. This allows the plastics button to be assembled in a conventional two piece die set as used for metal shell buttons.
