    摘要: Methods and compositions relating to fluid loss control operations are provided. Examples of compositions may comprise ceramic particulate bridging agents and improved fluid loss control additives, and methods of using those compositions to provide fluid loss control. An embodiment of a method of providing fluid loss control from a first location to a second location may comprise the steps of: providing a treatment fluid comprising ceramic particulate bridging agents, a modified starch composition, and a base fluid; introducing the treatment fluid to the first location; and allowing the treatment fluid to form a filter cake to prevent fluid loss from the first location to the second location.

    摘要: The present invention relates to fluid loss control operations. More particularly, the present invention provides compositions comprising ceramic particulate bridging agents and improved fluid loss control additives, and methods of using those compositions to provide fluid loss control.     摘要: The invention has as its object the use of new composition of gels that can be used for the reduction of the production of water in oil- or gas-producing wells.The compositions of gels comprise a solution of at least one water-soluble complex of a polyvalent metallic cation such as zirconium lactate able to cross link a nonionic polysaccharide such as scleroglucan, at a concentration of 2 to 10,000 parts per million of parts, expressed by weight of metal dioxide. With a preferred concentration of 2 to 100 ppm, the oil permeability is not appreciably affected.The compositions make possible the formation of aqueous gels of scleroglucan that can be used for the prevention of inflows of water into the hydrocarbon-producing wells.

The composition includes water, a viscosifying amount of a heteropolysaccharide prepared by growing Xanthomonas campestris NCIB 11854 in an aqueous nutrient medium by aerobic fermentation and recovering the heteropolysaccharide, and a crosslinking agent for the heteropolysaccharide in an amount sufficient to cause gelation of the aqueous solution of the Xanthomonas compestris NCIB 11854 heteropolysaccharide. Also described is a two-stage gel-forming composition for use in controlling the profile of a subterranean formation.
