    摘要: A line connector apparatus for removably engaging a flexible line to an article, the apparatus including a beam with an external surface, the beam also including a flexible line end and an opposing article end. The apparatus has a void disposed partially within the flexible line end and the void is also partially formed from an open channel adjacent to the external surface. The void having a slip fit clearance with the flexible line, wherein the void communicates therethrough the flexible line end and the void receives the flexible line allowing the flexible line to be manually feed therethrough the void. The apparatus includes structure for selectively compressing the flexible line that is positioned within the open channel to change the slip fit clearance to an interference fit and the opposing article end is attached to the article. Operationally, the flexible line is affixed to the article via the beam.

    摘要: Apparatus for suspending a device such as the end of a depending air brake hose from a railcar. A flexible strap of a synthetic resin such as moldable polyurethane is suspended from the railcar body, for example, by attachment to an apertured fitting on the railcar coupler. Elongated resilient wire clips are provided to attach the free end of the air hose. The wire clips are generally configured with a latching end including interlocking end portions for connection to the strap through a selected attachment aperture, a pair of flexibly resilient, elongated manually compressible elongated arms extending away from the latching end portions and a return portion joining the arms. The clip is further provided with a retainer operative when the arms are interlocked for maintaining the attachment aperture fitting within the confines of the return portion and out of position in which loading of the clip is exerted laterally of the clip arms. In a preferred embodiment, the clip is provided with a bend in its first arm operative to promote optimum point-loading of the clip, and this embodiment of the clip is particularly useful with a chain suspension strap.

    摘要: A fish-hook clasp with a rotating mechanism or “small jack” whose shape forms two activating wings which protrude respectively from the side edges of the clasp's shell. It is possible to act on at least one of the wings to cause the rotating mechanism to rotate therefore bringing the rotating mechanism from the closed position, towards which the rotating mechanism is normally pushed by the internal spring, to the open position. The rotating mechanism is also supplied with contact surfaces, which are there to interact with the closed part of the edge of the shell of the clasp which defines the position of an arm of the rotating mechanism when the clasp is in the closed position.

    摘要: A clip for use as a sinker for fishing, comprising two half-shells (1, 2) forming jaws having the shape of spherical sectors of the same diameter. The sector of at least one of the half-shells (1, 2) subtends an angle less than 180.degree.. The half-shells (1, 2) are assembled with each other about a pivotal axis (D) forming a common diameter of the half-shells (1, 2) by a resilient blade (3) anchored on the half-shells (1, 2) at a point (8) on that diameter. The resilient blade (3) is so shaped as to exert a continuous gripping action maintaining the two half-shells (1, 2) in a closed position. The elastic blade (3) imparts to the half-shells (1, 2) two over-center positions in each of which confronting edges of the half-shells rest against each other. These two over-center positions are spaced apart by an intermediate position in which the resilient blade (3) and the pivotal axis (D) lie in a common plane. Thus, the half-shells tend to snap into either one of two equilibrium positions in which they are yieldably maintained by the resilient blade (3).
