The second unit comprises a portion made complementary to the groove such that the enclosure is created when the first and the second units are assembled. The system comprises a releasable snap coupling assembly that can lock the first and the second units together.

The method includes providing a buoyant member and a stem guide configured to receive the buoyant member, mounting the buoyant member to the stem guide and cutting the buoyant member. The buoyant member is made of a material capable of being severed by a cutting device and having first length, a lower end, and an upper end. The stem guide receives the buoyant member and a fishing line with fishing tackle. The buoyant member is cut such that the buoyant member has a second length shorter than the first length. The buoyant member is cut to a second length such that the buoyancy of the buoyant member when cut to a second length is enough to oppose the tendency of the stem guide and fishing tackle to submerse the buoyant member such that a top surface of the cut buoyant member is adjacent to the surface of the water when the stem guide, buoyant member, fishing line and any fishing tackle are placed in the water.

The bend extends from the shank and folds over to join the point at a gap portion where the bend contacts the shank. The point extends away from the shank, forming a channel to receive a continuous section of fishing line. A shaft extends between the shank and the piece of tackle. In various embodiments, a second in-line snap cooperates with the first in-line snap to support a piece of tackle between the two in-line snaps.

摘要： A fishing device, for use with a reel and rod combination having fishing line with attached terminal tackle, includes a base, an indicator device, a trigger mechanism, and a line device. The base has a hole and slot configuration to allow a fishing line to feed through the base. The indicator device is coupled to the base and is configured to indicate the presence of a fish. The trigger mechanism is configured to cause the indicator device to pop up when the trigger device is activated. The line device attaches to the fishing line and is configured to activate the trigger mechanism. When a fish pulls on the terminal tackle, the line device activates the trigger mechanism that causes the indicator device to pop-up indicating to a user the presence of a fish.

摘要： A fishing sinker includes a sinker body with a bore formed through it. A unidirectionally displaceable insert is received in the bore with a passage for line formed through the insert. A friction reducing sleeve is located between the bore and the insert and is fast with the sinker body. The insert is unidirectionally displaceable by virtue of it having an enlarged head that is incapable of proceeding through a narrow elongate portion of the sinker bore. Consequently the insert can only egress from the sinker in one direction. The sinker is designed to make it difficult for fish to feel any jerking or hesitation on the line as they take a baited hook so that they are not immediately alerted to the presence of fishing tackle.

摘要： A steerable fishing lure with highly improved steerability is disclosed. The fishing lure has a generally hollow body having an inner surface and a generally tubular cam sleeve located inside the body and fixedly attached to the inner surface. The cam sleeve has a forward cam surface and an aft cam surface. A generally cylindrical rotor is slideably inserted into the cam sleeve. The rotor has a forward cam and an aft cam. Each of the forward cam and the aft cam extends outwardly from the rotor such that the forward cam rides along the forward cam surface and the aft cam rides along the aft surface. A biasing member is mounted within the body. The biasing member is adapted to bias the forward cam against the forward cam surface. A method of redirecting a track of the fishing lure is also disclosed.

摘要： A line connector apparatus for removably engaging a flexible line to an article, the apparatus including a beam with an external surface, the beam also including a flexible line end and an opposing article end. The apparatus has a void disposed partially within the flexible line end and the void is also partially formed from an open channel adjacent to the external surface. The void having a slip fit clearance with the flexible line, wherein the void communicates therethrough the flexible line end and the void receives the flexible line allowing the flexible line to be manually feed therethrough the void. The apparatus includes structure for selectively compressing the flexible line that is positioned within the open channel to change the slip fit clearance to an interference fit and the opposing article end is attached to the article. Operationally, the flexible line is affixed to the article via the beam.
