In one example, a cooling system comprises a plurality of adjacent fan modules configured to generate a plurality of cooling flows, a fan cage having a central axis adapted to contain the plurality of adjacent fan modules, the fan cage comprising a cavity on its central axis. Furthermore, the system comprises a first support bracket adapted to support the fan cage such that the fan cage rotates on its central axis and a bush established in the cavity of the fan cage. A first end of the bush is adapted to engage the first support bracket on a first surface of the fan cage.

    摘要: A subrack assembly can be configured for use with a subrack that includes an installation space for electronic circuit boards, an air distribution duct, an air collecting duct, and a slot. A fan tray can be configured to be slidably and removably received in the slot and can include panel and support one or more electric fans. The panel of the fan tray can at least partly define a first air chamber within the fan tray, and, in cooperation with the subrack, can define a second air chamber within the subrack, with the panel separating the second air chamber from the first air chamber. The one or more electric fans can be configured to drive an air flow through the first and second air chambers, the air collecting duct, and the air distribution duct, to cool the electronic circuit boards within the installation space.

    摘要: An electronics chassis has many removable boards on sleds that are interconnected by a honeycomb interconnect structure. Interconnect boards in Y-planes and Z-planes are orthogonal to each other and form cells. Cooling air flows through the cells in an X direction, parallel to surfaces of the interconnect boards. The removable boards have connectors that mate with an edge of Z-divider interconnect boards. Fans blow air through the cells in the honeycomb structure unimpeded since no boards are perpendicular to the airflow. Notches in the rear of the Z-divider boards provide airflow equalization allowing closer spacing of fans to the honeycomb structure. A sled carrier honeycomb structure is placed in front of the honeycomb interconnect structure to guide sleds into position. Sled carrier dividers are offset from the Z-divider boards to allow removable boards to align with Z-divider boards in the Z-planes, parallel to airflow.

    摘要: A module for a telecommunications subrack as well as a telecommunication subrack are disclosed. The module is a horizontal plug in unit including a power part that includes power filtering functions for securing power feed to a backplane of the subrack as well as to a number of fans also arranged on the module for cooling of the subrack. The module also includes connectors arranged in the rear of the module for connecting the module to the backplane as well as connectors arranged in the front of the module for accommodating power cables. The telecommunications subrack includes a cage configured to accommodate cards, an air intake with filter and two or more removably mounted modules. Each of these modules includes a power part that includes power filtering functions for securing power feed for the subrack, input connectors arranged in the front of the module for accommodating power cables, fans for cooling of the subrack, and output connectors for connecting the module to a backplane of the subrack. The subrack further includes a backplane configured to distribute power and signaling to the cards and having connectors for connecting to the modules.
