    摘要: A chip-level software and hardware cooperative relay protection device is provided. The device includes: a control chip, wherein a first control unit, a second control unit, and multiple logic circuits are integrated on the control chip; and the logic circuits perform microsecond-level rapid calculation on electrical signals of a protected electrical device, obtain fault feature parameters of the protected electrical device are and transmit same to the first control unit, then perform millisecond-level real-time protection logic determination according to the fault feature parameters of the protected electrical device to obtain relay protection results of the protected electrical device, and protect the protected electrical device by controlling an external relay according to the relay protection results. When the first control unit protects the protected electrical device, the second control unit performs second-level quasi-real-time management communication function processing on operation data generated by the first control unit and the logic circuits.

    摘要: An example method for detecting and mitigating attacks on electric power substations comprises detecting a command to open or close a circuit breaker in the electric power substation. A modified extended substation model for the electric power substation is generated, based on the detected command and based on measurements in substation, where the modified extended substation model is a power flow model for the substation and for one or more directly connected neighboring substations. A power flow analysis is performed, using the modified extended substation model, to generate a predicted voltage for each of a plurality of nodes in the substation and in the one or more directly connected neighboring substations. Each predicted voltage is compared to a corresponding allowable voltage range, and execution of the command is blocked in response to determining that one or more of the voltages is outside the corresponding allowable voltage range.

    摘要: A protection device, externally connectable to an existing circuit breaker with zone selective interlock functionality, enables a circuit breaker to implement directional zone selective interlock. The protection device includes a first input port and a first output port connectable to a circuit breaker, and second and third ports for connecting to a protection device of another circuit breaker and for transmitting interlock signals via an input bus and an output bus inside the EDP. A control unit is configured to enable one of the second and third ports as a second input port and the other as a second output port according to the direction of current currently flowing through the circuit breaker; and configured to forward an interlock signal from the first input port to the output bus and to forward an interlock signal on the input bus received from the second input port to the first output port.

    摘要: Automatic reclosing of a fault interrupting device is overridden by establishing communication with a control system for a fault interrupting device operable to open responsive to a fault on an electric distribution system and automatically reclose after a predetermined time delay, and analyzing data for the electric distribution system by an apparatus separate from the fault interrupting device control system and having higher performance than the fault interrupting device control system, to determine whether to block the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device before the fault interrupting device automatically recloses. An autoreclosing block command is generated by the apparatus if the apparatus determines the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device should be blocked. The autoreclosing block command is sent from the apparatus to the fault interrupting device control system to prevent the automatic reclosing of the fault interrupting device after the predetermined time delay.
