    摘要: A switch wire connection device has a simplified structure and is easy to operate with enhanced stability of operation. The switch wire connection device includes a conductive component mounted in an insulation case, a switch pushbutton assembled with the conductive component and an electrical contact. The electrical contact has a restriction unit and a contact plate connected with the restriction unit. By means of operating the pushbutton, the conductive component is driven to selectively electrically contact or separate from the contact plate. The restriction unit is divided into a first space and a second space, in which a first leg section and a second leg section of a metal leaf spring are respectively assembled. The wiring circuits or conductive wires can be easily directly plugged into the first and second spaces of the restriction unit and held by the first and second leg sections.

    摘要: A termination strip (1) for a telecommunications module comprising at least one pair of contact elements (50) arranged side-by-side, each terminating in contacts (13) on opposed longitudinal sides (9, 10) of the strip for connection to a wire pair of a telecommunications cable. Each contact element comprises: (i) two end regions (52) that terminate in contacts on respective longitudinal sides of the termination strip and are substantially aligned with one another along the longitudinal axis of the contact element, and (ii) a narrower central region (51) between the end regions, located substantially on one side of the longitudinal axis. One of the end regions comprises a resilient contact region (53) extending from the end region substantially on the other side of the longitudinal axis and engageable by an external component inserted into the termination strip from one of the opposed longitudinal sides. The contact elements are substantially identical but turned through 180° relative to one another with the narrower central regions adjacent one another.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly includes a connector, designed to connect to a mating electrical device while maintaining a closed circuit throughout. The electrical device includes conductive contacts. The electrical connector includes an insulating housing with at least a pair of input/output terminals mounted thereon. The terminals include contacts for engaging the electrical device. A switch mechanism, mounted on the housing for movement between connecting and disconnecting positions, includes a latch member and at least one switch terminal. In the connecting position, the latch member engages a latch on the electrical device with the switch terminal out of engagement with the input/output terminals. In the disconnecting position, the latch member disengages from the latch on the electrical device for removal from the assembly with the switch terminal in engagement with the input/output terminals to maintain a closed circuit throughout when the electrical device is removed.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly (10) incorporates a connector (12) with a switch and is designed to electrically and mechanically connect and disconnect to a mating electrical device (14) while maintaining a closed circuit continuously through the connector. The mating electrical device includes a plurality of conductive contacts (20). The electrical connector includes an insulating housing (30) with at least a pair of input and output terminals (32) mounted on the housing. The terminals include contact portions (32b) for engaging the contacts of the mating electrical device. A switch mechanism (40; 60) is movably mounted on the housing for movement between a connecting position and a disconnecting position. The switch mechanism includes a latch member (48; 17) and at least one switch terminal (44). In the connecting position, the latch member is interengaged with a latch (26; 62) on the mating electrical device with the switch terminal out of engagement with the input and output terminal. In the disconnecting position, the latch member (48, 17) is disengageable from the latch (26, 62) on the mating electrical device so that the device can be removed from the assembly with the switch terminal (44) in engagement with the input and output terminals (32) to maintain a closed circuit through the connector (12) when the mating electrical device (14) is removed.
