摘要： A sealing device including a mask for partially irradiating light and a method of manufacturing a display device using the sealing device is disclosed. The sealing device used to bond first and second substrates by interposing a sealing material at edges of the first and second substrates and by irradiating light to the sealing material comprises: a mask disposed on one side of the stage, in which a transmission portion is formed in correspondence to the formation position of the sealing member so that light can be irradiated to the sealing material; and an optical head irradiating the light to the sealing material through the transmission portion of the mask. A pattern for regulating the amount of the light irradiated to the sealing material is formed in the transmission portion of the mask.

摘要： This is a system for connecting flexible electrical connectors having raised conductors above an insulating substrate to a plasma display panel having a glass substrate with the electrical conductors deposited in the bottom surface of conductor pathways etched in a glass substrate. The raised conductors on the connectors mate with the depressed conductors in the panel substrate. The spacing of the conductors in the connector may be varied to facilitate an exact mating with the conductors in the panel substrate. A clip device in combination with a flexible insulating force spreading member applies a uniform continuous pressure to the connector cable and glass substrate combination to maintain connection. This system may be used to facilitate the direct attachment of large scale integrated circuit chip carriers having conductor members on a surface thereof directly to conductors in a plasma display panel substrate.

摘要： A display panel module includes a substrate, a circuit board, electrode terminals aligned in a first direction over a surface of the substrate, each of the electrode terminals extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, lead terminals aligned in the first direction over a confronting surface of the circuit board to the substrate, at least an anisotropically conductive film sandwiched between the electrode terminals and the lead terminals, and a plurality of first electrically insulating walls on the substrate in at least selected plural ones of gaps between selected ones of the electrode terminals and on opposite side regions of the module, the opposite side regions being distanced in the first direction and separated by a center region. The first electrically insulating walls have a first height that is higher than a first total height of the electrode terminals and the anisotropically conductive film.

摘要： Provided is a display apparatus that includes a panel assembly having a front panel and a rear panel coupled to the front panel and a plurality of discharge electrodes to which power is applied; a chassis base assembly that is combined with the panel assembly and on which a driving circuit unit is formed; a plurality of signal transmitting units that electrically connect the discharge electrodes and the driving circuit unit; and a silicon protection member which is formed on at least an end of each of the signal transmitting units to surround connection portions between the signal transmitting units and the discharge electrodes of the driving circuit unit, and comprises a silicon layer that seals the connection portions from the outside and an electromagnetic wave shielding material that is mixed in the silicon layer to block electromagnetic waves generated by the discharge electrodes or the driving circuit unit and has an electromagnetic wave shielding range from 1 to 200 dB. The display apparatus can prevent yellowing, and at the same time, can block electromagnetic waves.
