摘要： A connecting apparatus is for connecting a first component to a second component in an interlocking manner. The first component includes a flexible limb having a latching lug which can latch with a projection on the second component in order to connect the first component to the second component in a releasable manner without using a tool. For the purpose of connection in a releasable manner without using a tool, the flexible limb runs in a guide of the second component, which guide allows the flexible limb only to move in the direction which is prespecified by the guide, and the latching lug and the projection are at a distance from one another in the state in which said components are connected in an interlocking manner. An electrical switch is also disclosed, including the connecting apparatus; a side wall; and a pole cassette.

An actuating shaft is operatively connected to and actuates the plurality of movable contacts to couple with/separate from the corresponding fixed contacts. A supporting device for the actuating shaft can be movably connected to a wall of the circuit breaker, and the actuating shaft can be operatively coupled to the supporting device to rotate around a rotation axis relative to the wall of the circuit breaker and the supporting device itself. The circuit breaker can include an adjustment device for adjusting at least the position of the actuating shaft relative to the wall.

摘要： A shunt trip device for a circuit breaker having a trip bar for tripping the circuit breaker. The device includes a housing having a slot and a bottom wall having a pivot pocket. The device also includes a lever arm having a lever projection portion and a pivot portion. The pivot portion is located in the pivot pocket to enable rotation of the lever arm in the slot about a lever rotation axis between first and second positions. When the lever arm is in the second position, the lever projection portion moves the trip bar and trips the circuit breaker. The device further includes an actuation device that moves the lever arm to the second position. The pivot portion and pivot pocket form a configuration that increases a perpendicular distance between a force generated by the actuation device and the lever rotation axis.

The captivation assembly elements are incorporated into the trip unit housing assembly and captivates the trip bar in all but one axis, thereby limiting tolerance buildup and improving repeatability.
