Abstract:
A keyswitch structure includes a baseplate having a switch opening, a keycap movably disposed above the baseplate, a circuit board disposed on the baseplate, the circuit board having a through hole, and a mechanical switch disposed below the keycap, the mechanical switch extending through the through hole to be partially received in the switch opening and electrically coupled to the circuit board, wherein when the keycap moves toward the baseplate, the keycap triggers the mechanical switch.
Abstract:
A microswitch keyboard includes a circuit board, a supporting plate and plural keys. Each of the keys includes a keycap, a microswitch element and a connecting element. The supporting plate is disposed on the circuit board. The plural keys are connected with the supporting plate. The microswitch element of each key is disposed under the keycap and connected with the circuit board. The connecting element is disposed under the keycap and arranged around the microswitch element. Moreover, by the connecting element, the keycap is fixed on the supporting plate and guided to be moved upwardly or downwardly relative to the supporting plate. When the keycap is pressed, the microswitch element is triggered to generate a corresponding switch signal.
Abstract:
A switch module system includes switch modules. Each switch module has a housing, a keypad with switch domes, and an actuator for the switch domes. The housing of each switch module includes a housing chassis and a housing cover. The switch modules are attached to a substrate with contact areas of the substrate being electrically connectable through the switch domes of the keypads of the switch modules. For each switch module a respective section of the substrate is inserted into the housing chassis of the switch module and the respective section of the substrate is attached by the housing cover of the switch module to the housing chassis of the switch module.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Provided is a push-type switch device including: a switch element in which a dome-shaped reversing spring is accommodated in a switch casing; a holder which is mounted to the outside portion of the switch casing so as to define a position relative to the switch casing and has a perforation hole formed at a position adjacent to a center portion of the reversing spring so as to face the center portion; and a driving protrusion which is inserted through the perforation hole so as to reciprocate and is driven to push the reversing spring, wherein when the holder mounted on an upper portion of the switch casing is attached to a predetermined position of the interconnection substrate, the switch casing is held in the interconnection substrate.
Abstract:
An electric device includes a housing having an opening, a printed circuit board installed in the housing, a switch formed on the printed circuit board for enabling functions of the electric device, a faceplate for coving the opening of the housing, a keypad formed on a position of the faceplate corresponding to the switch for triggering the switch, and a fixing mechanism comprising a first fixing element extending from a side of the faceplate facing the printed circuit board, and a second fixing element extending from the printed circuit board for being combined with the first fixing element.
Abstract:
A portable communication device is disclosed comprising a front face (3) having a plurality of openings therein, and an array (6) of keys. Each key has a switch actuator, a switching element, and coupling means. The switch actuator has an upper surface bounded by side walls, and the switch actuator of each key of the array (6) protrudes from one of the plurality of openings to provide its upper surface for tactile actuation by a user and is physically discrete from the others. The coupling means couples the tactile actuation of the upper surface by a user to the switching element.
Abstract:
A keyboard of the present invention satisfies any desired specifications, i.e., a desired number and a desired arrangement of key switches. A switch circuit board and frame members are respectively cut away from a large, original frame material and an elongate, original frame material in accordance with the desired arrangement of key switches. The keyboard can therefore be produced by a minimum number of designing and producing steps. Moreover, it is not necessary to prepare many different kinds of parts beforehand. The keyboard is particularly suitable for many kinds, small quantity production that produces keyboards with different specifications to order.
Abstract:
A key switch includes a switching member supported on a resilient member and connected to a key cap and driven by it to slide in a locating member. The switching member has two opposite, curved side plates caused to slide in the locating member along two opposite sliding ways. The elastic member has a plurality of small raised portions supported on the PC board, a plurality of spaced ribs on the inner wall surface to reinforce the structure and the elastic resilient property thereof, and a plurality of notches between the raised portions for exhaust of air squeezed by the circular flange of said switching member.
