    Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure include a recall notification method, a method for communicating an action to be performed by a device, and a method of operating a relay service by a network device. One embodiment of the recall notification method may comprise periodically transmitting, by a network interface of a medical device implanted in a user's body, a poll request to a recall service endpoint. The method may further comprise receiving, by the network interface in response to the poll request, a recall notification; and in response to receiving the recall notification, directly notifying the user.

    Abstract: A method and system for improving a shared memory file transfer setup and usage is provided. The method includes configuring network links connected between hardware nodes. For every shared storage link, each hardware node includes a command section and a data storage section. A storage capacity for a hardware disk drive is determined based on a number of the hardware nodes and the hardware disk drive is connected to the hardware nodes. A software agent is installed within each of the hardware nodes and properties for the network links are configured. Each software agent is enabled and a connectivity status, bandwidth, and loading condition are tested for each of the network links. Each hardware node is registered with the hardware disk drive and communications between the hardware disk drive and the hardware nodes are enabled via the network links.

The method includes detecting an alignment point for a periodic signal segment of a periodic signal generated by an apparatus being monitored for standard functionality In response, the apparatus is activated from a period prior to the alignment point to an end point of the periodic signal segment and a first point of the periodic signal segment is located. Likewise, a second point of an additional periodic signal segment of the periodic signal is located. The periodic signal is normalized based on results of locating the first point and the second point.

The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: obtaining, by a container host node, container image configuration data that defines a specified container image configuration, wherein the container host node includes an associated container image repository for storing container images; multicasting, by the container host node, a request for one or more image of first through Nth specified container images to a set of container host nodes; receiving, by the container host node, at least one container image from at least one container host node of the set of container host nodes in response to the multicasting; building, by the container host node, a specified container image according to the specified container image configuration using the at least one container image received by the receiving; and running, by the container host node, the specified container image built by the building to define a runtime container.
