A static mitigation end cap, for an architectural covering is provided. The covering may include a head rail having an end cap. The end cap may include housing extending along a longitudinal length of the head rail and defining a chamber. The end cap may include a printed circuit board received within the chamber and configured to control a motor assembly operatively connected to the at least one end cap. The end cap may include an actuation member slidably coupled with the end cap for selective engagement with the printed circuit board.

The slidable control button device provides inputs to an electronic communication device such as a smartphone. When the slidable control button is moved to positions within a grooved path, it acquires additional functionalities. These include (a) gaming console hand devices for both left and right hand thumbs of gamers, (b) pressing on the left or right edge of the button will control functions of software of apps, (c) motion detection (d) sending and receiving data related to measuring motion, speed or acceleration, temperature, and communicating with the software applications installed in the smartphone.

A fault current limiter arrangement for a low, medium and high voltage electricity grid, including a fault current limiter unit which is arranged in line with a circuit breaker unit including a fixed electrical contact which is connected to a lower electrical terminal and a movable electrical contact which is connected to an upper electrical terminal, in order to interrupt the current flow after the fault current limiter unit has limited the current flow in a detected fault event. The fault current limiter unit includes a movable electrical sliding contact part which is electrically arranged between the upper electrical terminal of the circuit breaker unit and the movable electrical contact of the circuit breaker unit, and which is movable between a short circuit position adjacent to the upper electrical terminal and a remote position far from the upper electrical terminal for providing a maximum electrical resistance for the current flow.

An inner portion may cooperate with the outer portion and may have a positioning lever and an adjustment mechanism slot. The positioning lever may cooperate with one of the plurality of slots. An adjustment mechanism may cooperate with one of the plurality of slots and the adjustment mechanism slot. The adjustment mechanism may slide within the adjustment mechanism slot changing a volume of the speaker assembly when the outer portion moves in relation to the inner portion.

Described herein are one or more techniques related to a touchsurface with level and planar translational travel responsiveness. One or more of the described implementations include an input device having a rigid body including a touchsurface configured to travel along a depression path in response to being depressed by a user. The input device also includes a leveling mechanism that operates in manner to keep the touchsurface substantially level as the touchsurface travels along the depression path in response to being depressed by the user. Furthermore, the input device has a planar-translation-effecting mechanism that defines a planar translation component of the depression path, such that the touchsurface exhibits planar translation as the touchsurface travels along the depression path.
Abstract:
An electrical switch device features a switch module housing that fits at least partially within an in-wall electrical box. The housing contains electrically controlled switches and has line and neutral contacts carried for each of the electrically controlled switches to enable connection of a different respective load circuit across each electrically controlled switch. A control panel is mountable over an open front of the in-wall electrical box and the housing therein, and has a user-interface for operation of the switch module to control the electrically controlled switches and connected loads. The control panel is sized to fully cover the open front of a multi-gang electrical box, whereby the same switch module and control panel are usable with either a single-gang or multi-gang electrical box without leaving any portion of the open front of the single-gang or multi-gang electrical box uncovered by said control panel.

Slide switch assemblies with structural enhancements are provided for use in electronic devices. Slide switch assemblies in accordance with embodiments the invention can include a button, an engagement member, and switch box. The engagement member couples the button to the switch box and translates any movement of the button to the switch box. The switch box is mounted offset with respect to the button because another component such as, for example, a display screen occupies the space that would have been a better mounting position for the switch box. To compensate for the offset, and the added torsion that is applied to the engagement member during button movement events, the engagement member is structurally enhanced.
