    摘要: A technology of accurately coding and decoding coefficients which are convertible into linear prediction coefficients even for a frame in which the spectrum variation is great while suppressing an increase in the code amount as a whole is provided. A coding device includes: a first coding unit that obtains a first code by coding coefficients which are convertible into linear prediction coefficients of more than one order; and a second coding unit that obtains a second code by coding at least quantization errors of the first coding unit if (A-1) an index Q commensurate with how high the peak-to-valley height of a spectral envelope is, the spectral envelope corresponding to the coefficients which are convertible into the linear prediction coefficients of more than one order, is larger than or equal to a predetermined threshold value Th1 and/or (B-1) an index Q′ commensurate with how short the peak-to-valley height of the spectral envelope is, is smaller than or equal to a predetermined threshold value Th1′.

    摘要: A coding method and a decoding method are provided which can use in combination a predictive coding and decoding method which is a coding and decoding method that can accurately express coefficients which are convertible into linear prediction coefficients with a small code amount and a coding and decoding method that can obtain correctly, by decoding, coefficients which are convertible into linear prediction coefficients of the present frame if a linear prediction coefficient code of the present frame is correctly input to a decoding device. A coding device includes: a predictive coding unit that obtains a first code by coding a differential vector formed of differentials between a vector of coefficients which are convertible into linear prediction coefficients of more than one order of the present frame and a prediction vector containing at least a predicted vector from a past frame, and obtains a quantization differential vector corresponding to the first code; and a non-predictive coding unit that generates a second code by coding a correction vector which is formed of differentials between the vector of the coefficients which are convertible into the linear prediction coefficients of more than one order of the present frame and the quantization differential vector or formed of some of elements of the differentials.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for predicting a high band excitation signal are disclosed. The method includes: acquiring, according to a received low band bitstream, a set of spectral frequency parameters that are arranged in an order of frequencies, calculating a spectral frequency parameter difference between every two spectral frequency parameters that have a same position interval; acquiring a minimum spectral frequency parameter difference from the calculated spectral frequency parameter differences; determining, according to a frequency bin that corresponds to the minimum spectral frequency parameter difference, a start frequency bin for predicting a high band excitation signal from a low band; and predicting the high band excitation signal from the low band according to the start frequency bin. By implementing embodiments of the present invention, a high band excitation signal can be better predicted, thereby improving performance of the high band excitation signal.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides techniques for adjusting a temporal gain parameter and for adjusting linear prediction coefficients. A value of the temporal gain parameter may be based on a comparison of a synthesized high-band portion of an audio signal to a high-band portion of the audio signal. If a signal characteristic of an upper frequency range of the high-band portion satisfies a first threshold, the temporal gain parameter may be adjusted. A linear prediction (LP) gain may be determined based on an LP gain operation that uses a first value for an LP order. The LP gain may be associated with an energy level of an LP synthesis filter. The LP order may be reduced if the LP gain satisfies a second threshold.

The processing is implemented during decoding of such a signal in order to replace at least one signal frame lost in decoding, and comprising in particular: a) searching, in a valid signal available to the decoder, for a signal segment of length corresponding to a period set as a function of the valid signal; b) analyzing a spectrum of the segment in order to determine spectral components of the segment; and c) synthesizing at least one replacement frame for the lost frame by construction of a synthesized signal from at least a portion of the spectral components.
