    摘要: A digital circuit arrangement for an ambient noise-reduction system affording a higher degree of noise reduction than has hitherto been possible. The arrangement converts the analog signals into N-bit digital signals at sample rate f0, and then subjects the converted signals to digital filtering. The value of N in some embodiments is 1 but, in any event, is no greater than 8, and f0 may be 64 times the Nyquist sampling rate but, in any event, is substantially greater than the Nyquist sampling rate. This permits digital processing to be used without incurring group delay problems that rule out the use of conventional digital processing in this context. Furthermore, adjustment of the group delay can readily be achieved, in units of a fraction of a micro-second, providing the ability to fine tune the group delay for feed forward applications.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for sound processing, where sound is attenuated by measuring it and by producing with an actuator a sound field of opposite sign in view of the original sound field. A desired value signal (I) is supplied to the actuator which reproduces the signal. To the actuator is attached a sensor, measuring sound pressure, and the difference of the sensor signal (B) and the desired value signal (I) is applied as high gain feedback to the actuator. As a consequence, sound not pertaining to the desired value signal (I) can be attenuated in a simple manner, and sound in accordance with the desired value signal (I) can be produced simultaneously with the same apparatus.

    摘要: In a method for reproducing sound signals by means of headphones provided with microphones, unwanted sound signals from at least one external sound source are compensated by sound signals, simulating in anti-phase the sound signals from said at least one external sound source. The anti-phase sound signals being generated in the headphones in response to signals derived from audio input signals of the at least one external sound source in a first filter device which is controlled by the resulting microphone signals. Further, wanted sound signals are generated in the headphones in response to signals derived from further audio input signals in a second filter device with transfer functions substantially equal to the corresponding transfer functions of the first filter device.

    摘要: A noise control device disposed at the outlet of a tail pipe which emits exhaust noise of an automobile to silence noise from the tail pipe comprises a speaker which is arranged near the tail pipe and of which the open surface has a constant angle with respect to a vertical plane, an enclosure which closes the rear portion of the speaker, and a silencing sound guide portion which guides silencing sounds emitted from the front surface of the speaker to the outlet of the tail pipe. A closed space into which a bumper for absorbing impact in case of collision is made, is used as a resonant-cavity of said speaker. Based on the amount of silencing noise which becomes greater as a plurality of microphones are arranged to be closer to the speaker, the outputs of the plurality of microphones apart a constant distance from said speaker are synthesized.
