    Abstract: A head-mounted device may have head-mounted support structures configured to be worn on a head of a user. The head-mounted device may have stereo optical components such as left and right cameras or left and right display systems. The optical components may have respective left and right pointing vectors. Deformation of the support structures may cause the camera pointing vectors and/or the display system pointing vectors to become misaligned. Sensor circuitry such as strain gauge circuitry may measure pointing vector misalignment. Control circuitry may control the cameras and/or the display systems to compensate for measured changes in pointing vector misalignment.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media including instructions for selectively controlling display of digital objects are disclosed. Selectively controlling display of digital objects includes generating a plurality of digital objects for display in connection with use of a computing device operable in a first display mode wherein the plurality of digital objects are displayed via a physical display and in a second display mode wherein some of the plurality of digital objects are displayed via the physical display, and at least one other of the plurality of digital objects is displayed via a wearable extended reality appliance; determining a usage status of the wearable extended reality appliance; selecting a display mode based on the usage status of the wearable extended reality appliance; and in response to the display mode selection, outputting for presentation the plurality of digital objects in a manner consistent with the selected display mode.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display apparatus, in which a shift of a transmission or reflection wavelength characteristic due to an incident angle of light is suppressed, and observation of external light necessary for display and image light necessary for display is possible. The display apparatus of the present disclosure includes an image light generator that generates image light by use of light in each of at least a first wavelength band, a second wavelength band, and a third wavelength band, and a light synthesizing part that transmits external light and reflects the image light. The light synthesizing part has a transparent substrate having a concave surface on which the image light is reflected, and a film that is provided on the concave surface of the substrate, reflects the image light, and transmits light in a predetermined wavelength band of the external light.

    Abstract: An apparatus for providing adjustable transparency to an optical element of a head wearable display includes an electro-chromic film disposed across the optical element to adjust a transparency of the optical element to ambient light and a transparency controller coupled to control the electro-chromic film with a drive signal to decrease the transparency of the optical element as the brightness of the ambient light increases.     Abstract: A display device for displaying information is provided with an optical system for guiding the light of the display device to the eye, the optical system having, in the order in the proceeding direction of the light, an entrance face for receiving the light, a curved face for totally reflecting the light and a reflecting face concave to the eye side and adapted to reflect the light toward the eye.
