    Abstract: A method for evaluating a damage power of confined explosion, includes: determining a size of a confined case and a thickness of a target plate according to a requirement of evaluation on damage effectiveness of a warhead to establish an explosive damage effectiveness evaluation platform; calibrating parameters of the platform with a series of confined explosion tests of trinitrotoluene (TNT) bare charges in the case to form a relational map, in which a deflection of a mid-point of the target plate changes with a charge mass; obtaining a deflection of the mid-point of the target plate by detonating different warheads, forming different detonation atmosphere and forming different venting configuration in the case, and performing interpolation through the map to obtain an equivalent bare charge as an evaluation index. The method quantitatively evaluates the damage effectiveness of the warhead, and is not limited by the damage component.

    Abstract: A computing system for dynamic forensic data capture and analysis is provided. The computing system may include a processor coupled to a memory to execute forensic analysis detection scheme using a forensic analysis agent of a client node and a forensic analysis module at a networked server node. The processor may be operable to receive a user request for a computer activity and sensed image data associated with the forensic evidence while the client node is coupled within a forensic microscope assembly that optically aligns an image sensor of the client node with the forensic evidence. The processor may also be operable to generate and send ballistic specimen data including images, video, GPS data and the like to the networked server, wherein the processor is operable to generate ballistic imaging metadata. Further, the processor may be operable to detect matching records of spent ballistics and generate a hit report thereby.

    Abstract: A spine testing device having bearing supports located at a horizontal distance from one another in order to support opposite ends of an arrow, a measuring unit for determining a spine value of the arrow and a display unit for displaying the spine value. The bearing supports are equipped with a weighing device in order to measure a force emanating from the arrow. A stop is located in an area between the weighing devices at such a height that the arrow can be brought by a specified distance from a horizontal starting position into a bending position by exerting a force at a point of application of the same located between the ends of the arrow, in which bending position the application portion of the arrow lies in contact with the stop. The measuring unit includes an evaluation device having means for establishing a bending force acting on the arrow. The evaluation device includes a calculation formula with at least one reference value, so that the spine value of the arrow can be calculated by means of the calculation formula.
