摘要： A premixed fuel burner assembly includes a hollow tubular burner body, a hollow tubular venturi tube and a distribution plate. The burner body is a hollow tube having a open end and a closed end. The burner body also has a longitudinal porting area within which are formed a plurality of radially formed slots. The hollow tubular venturi tube is positioned within the burner body along the longitudinal axis extending from said first end. The distribution plate has a mid-section and longitudinal flanges. The flanges of the distribution plate are coupled to the inside surface of burner body and said mid-section has a plurality of holes formed within. The distribution plate is axially aligned and positioned within said burner body such that said holes of distribution plate are positioned adjacent the radially formed slots within said burner body.

摘要： An atmospheric, low emission gas burner within the combustion chamber of a hot water heater in which the combustion chamber is sealed against entry of air except for the air/gas mixture entering through the burner. The burner comprises a venturi through which gas and air enter and a diffuser disposed about the venturi, the diffuser and venturi constructed to take advantage of the high thermal buoyancy within the water heater. The burner operates at low manifold pressure and creates low emissions of NOx and CO. The burner diffuser has a multiplicity of small slots disposed on the upper surface which is covered by a course mesh fabric material having relatively large openings designed to keep the flame front above and off the diffuser while maintaining a stable flame that does not flashback. Several openings in the base of the combustion chamber permit escape of a pressure pulse that occurs upon initial ignition, a porous material or a flap covering each of the openings for permitting the pulse to escape but preventing air from entering therethrough.

The present application provides the main combustion hole upstream the auxiliary combustion hole along the combustion direction, since the main flame is usually larger in scale than the auxiliary flame, by providing the main flame upstream the auxiliary flame, it will be easier for the auxiliary flame and the main flame to intersect each other, and then the effect of stabilizing the flame is realized by opposed flames formed by the auxiliary flame and the main flame.

A first side of the grid can be for supporting the food at a position so that at least some of the infrared radiation will cook the food. A second side of the grid can be sufficiently close to the emitting side of the emitter for substantially restricting any airflow in any space between the second side of the grid and the emitting side of the emitter. Partitions of the grid can operatively segregate the emitting side of the emitter into segments, which can provide a substantially uniform distribution of infrared radiation.
