摘要: The present disclosure provides a thermal actuator which comprises at least two containers containing a first fluid. The at least two containers define interior portions that are interconnected such that the interior portions of the containers are in fluidal communication with each other. The first fluid comprises a first liquid component and a second gaseous component. The thermal actuator is arranged such that a change in a temperature difference between one container and the or another container and within a predetermined range of temperature difference causes a quantity of a fluid contained in the thermal actuator to be transferred from the one container to the or another container such that a mass distribution of the thermal actuator is altered in response to the change in temperature difference so as to cause actuation.

摘要: A floating drain seal organization is utilized in combination with a drain formed with a conical bottom surface and a coaxially aligned outlet pipe. A float plug with a complementary conical bottom surface is spaced from the bottom surface of the drain to effect passage of drainage water therebetween. The float includes a planar top surface cooperative with an annular tubular seal coaxially spaced exteriorly of a circular matrix of openings. The float includes a hemispherical depression formed coaxially into its top surface to receive a hemispherical bottom portion of a seal coaxially aligned within the drain to effect sealing of the drain when a plugged or a slowed drain condition backs up drainage water therethrough.

摘要: A buoyant float including a body having an interior defined in part by a side wall and a bottom extending inward from the side wall. The side wall has an upper edge defining an open top of the body. The float includes a cover sized and shaped for covering the top of the body. The cover attaches to the body to maintain the cover in position relative to the body to cover the open top. The cover has a tubular skirt extending downward and around the upper edge of the body side wall when the cover is in position covering the top of the body. An air pocket is created at an interface between the cover and the body when the float is positioned in liquid to isolate the interface from the liquid and prevent liquid from entering the hollow interior of the body through the interface.

摘要: A drain hole for connecting a discharge hole and the inside of a collection container to each other is formed in a valve seat member. A float support is provided with a cylinder portion in which a piston is incorporated in a slidable manner. An vent valve for opening and closing a vent hole by means of a float is provided to the float support. A drain valve which operates between a closing position at which the drain valve closes the drain hole and an open position at which the drain valve opens the drain hole is provided to the piston. A bleed channel for connecting a piston chamber and the discharge hole to each other is formed by an orifice pin mounted in a bleed hole provided to the drain valve.
